He was not to come in for an equal division of my property with my other children.¹ Henry was named as an heir on 1 October 1822 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that it was brought out in a land cause of Laws vs. Russell, a partition suit, that Robert Russell had died in 1821 seized of several tracts of land containing about 475 acres and left the following children, exclusive of his son Henry, viz: John C. Russell, Robert Russell, Sally Russell, Samuel Russell and Nancy Laws, the wife of William Laws, who has since died leaving Robert Russell Laws her only child.⁴ Henry was named as an heir before 25 July 1836 at Accomack Co, VA.
