Mr. Bailey was a native of the Eastern Shore, but had been brought to this city two months ago in the hope that his health would be improved. Thomas W. Finney was the security on the M.L.B. of James Boggs and Elizabeth Rogers of Levi..1 Elizabeth P. Rogers inherited land in 1819 at north of Harborton, Slutkill Neck, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Levi Rodgers (wife Euphamey) left the 160 acres he bought from Bennett and George Scarburgh in 1790 to his daughter Elizabeth P. Rodgers, who later married James Boggs, whom she survived, and in 1859 she left the land to sons Levi R. & James A.M. Boggs my land containing 160 acres being the land devised to me by my father Levi Rodgers on the condition they pay to my 3 daughters Sally S. Joynes, wife of Elias D. Joynes, Elizabeth M. Bayly, wife of Thomas Bayly & Georgiana C. Smith, wife of James Smith, $560 each. To my son James A. M. Boggs … Residue to all my children Levi R. & James A. M. Boggs, Sally S. Joynes, Elizabeth M.
