It was on this date that she was named Elizabeth Hutchinson, late Elizabeth Bayley, and late the wife of Richard Baley, deceased. Elizabeth Baley states that her husband in his lifetime, to-wit: 18 Apr 1725, was seized of the land in the plea mentioned, and assigned to the said Elizabeth her dower, and being so seized on the 19 April in the year aforesaid by his last will and testament devised the said land to his grandson ...      Samuel was born circa 1675 at Accomack Co, VA. He married Johannah Watson, daughter of Robert Watson Sr. and Susan (-----), circa 1700.¹ Samuel was named in his father-in-law's will on 24 July 1702 at Accomack Co, VA. He was named as son-in-law in the 24 Jul 1702 will of Robert Watson Sr.¹ Samuel made a will on 29 December 1742 at Accomack Co, VA. To son Jonah Benson plantation where I now live with 200 acres adjcent thereto. To son Samuel Benson 100 acres at Watchapreague, also 100 acres being part of a tract my father in law gave me & my wife on the Southwest side of Pratts Branch. To daughter Sarah Kellum.      Peter was born circa 1645.² There seems little doubt that Peter Watson, brother of Robert Watson, first settled on Virginia's Eastern Shore. He could have lived on the 600 acres Robert Watson bought in 1665, between present-day Belle Haven and Painter. It is likely he was younger then his brother Robert.³ He married Jane (-----) circa 1668.² He settled in present-day Worcester County, MD in 1678. His descendants lived in lower Worcester County and uppper Accomack County, VA. Some of Peter's descendants lived in upper Worcester County, other in Delaware, and some left the area for other states and other parts of Maryland. His brother Robert Watson, settled in lower Accomack County and his descendants remained mostly in St. George Parish, the lower parish of Accomack County, VA.⁴ Peter was mentioned in a will on 16 August 1678 at Northampton Co, VA. Mary, the daughter of Peter Watson, was shown as a goddaugher and given one calf in the will of John Trueman, wife Francis.⁵ He patented land on 20 February 1679 at Mattapany Hundred, present-day Worcester Co, MD. He was granted 250 acres of land in the southern part of present-day Worcester County by Lord Baltimore. This acreage was due him for tansporting himself, his wife Jane, and children Peter, John and Mary into the province of Maryland. He named his patent Peterson and later deeds locate it as being on the west side of a branch of Swansicutt Creek. Modern maps show the villeage of Welbourne, MD in this area, and a small body of water - a widening of the creek at this point - is known locally as Big Mill. Descendants of Peter Watson have lived in the area to the present day.^6,7 Peter was named in his brother's will on 24 July 1702 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He deeded land as a gift on 7 May 1703 at tract Peterson, present-day Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Peter Watson gave his son Peter 50 acres of tract Peterson and on 10 Jan 1705 he sold the balance to Rowland Hodgson for 20 pounds.⁸ He died after 10 January 1705/6 at present day Worcester Co, MD. There is no record of Peter Watson's death, as he left no will and the settling of his estate has not been found. It is assumed that he died soon after he sold his remaining 200 acres in 1705/6.⁹

     Mary was born circa 1662 at Accomack Co, VA. As of circa 1680,her married name was Bonnewell.² She married James Bonnewell II, son of James Bonnewell I and Sarah Hickman, circa 1680.² As of circa 1700,her married name was Hughbank. She married Henry Hughbank circa 1700. Mary was named in her father's will on 24 July 1702 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as a daughter Mary Hughbank in the will of Robert Watson Sr. He left his grandson, John Bonwell, "my pistolls and holsters and back sword.".¹ Mary was named in her son's will on 14 January 1721 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as mother Mary Huebank and given land at Ekekses Creek containing 100 acres, in the will of James Bonewell..³ Mary died before 5 July 1732 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that John Wise was named to settle the estate of Mary Hughbank..⁴

     Susanna was born circa 1674 at Accomack Co, VA. She married Henry Stott circa 1695.¹ Susanna was named in her father's will on 24 July 1702 at Accomack Co, VA.¹

     Henry was born circa 1670. He married Susanna Watson, daughter of Robert Watson Sr. and Susan (-----), circa 1695.¹ He was named as a son-in-law in the 24 Jul 1702 will of Robert Watson Sr.¹

     Sarah was born circa 1676 at Accomack Co, VA.
