The Norfolk Landmark showed that Miss Bessie Lee Charnock and Mr. John Garland Miles were quietly married last evening at 7:45 o'clock at the home of her aunt, Mrs. W.L. Guy, 516 South Street. The ceremony was preformed by the Rev. R.H. Potts, pastor of Central Methodist Church. Both of the contracting persons were at one time residents of Eastern Shore of Virginia.
