It was in this year that Woodman Bloxom bought 40 acres of the John Morris part of tract A126 from Joseph & Comfort Bell and 10 more acres the following year.3 Woodman was named as an heir on 21 September 1759 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Woodman Bloxom in the will of Joseph Bell, wife Comfort, and given 53 acres. Whitelaw shows this as part of the John Morris part of tract A126 and that Joseph's son Oliver and his wife Elizabeth sold 63 acres more to Woodman Bloxom in 1765.5,3 Woodman was named as an heir on 21 September 1759 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Woodman Bloxom and given 53 acres of land in the will of Joseph Bell, wife Comfort.5 Woodman witnessed a will on 1 May 1770 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Stephen Bloxom and Woodman Bloxom witnessed the will of John Bloxom, wife Tabitha.6 He made a will on 13 March 1778 at Accomack Co, VA. To son Stephen Bloxom. To son William. To son Margaret Simpson Bloxom. To daughter Patience Hinman. To daughter Elizabeth Bell. To son in law Richard Bloxom. To son Thomas Bloxom. To son Simpson Bloxom. To daughter Rachel Bloxom. 6 children Sarah Johnson, Patience Hinman, Elizabeth Bell, Margaret Simpson Bloxom, William Bloxom & Stephen Bloxom residual legatees. Thomas was born circa 1722 at Accomack Co, VA. Thomas was named as administrator of an estate on 26 November 1745 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Sarah Linton was granted to Thomas Bloxom with Robert Abbott security.2 He married Patience Parks (Parks?) circa 1748.3 Thomas Bloxom Sr. was security on the administration of an estate on 30 July 1751 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Major Bird was granted to Sarah Bird with William Bell & Thomas Bloxom securities.4 He was named as the executor of a will on 24 November 1751 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Thomas Bloxom in the will of Sarah Parks. He was given a lagecy and named one of the Extrs. along with Benjamin Parks & Daniel Lewis.5 Thomas was named as an heir on 7 August 1752 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Thomas Bloxom in the will of Mary Parks. He was an Extr. along with Benjamin Parks & Daniel Lewis.6 He received land as a gift in 1753 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Woodman Bloxom deeded 100 acres of the William Bloxom part of tract A126, which he had bought from Isaa Baily (wife Lishee) in 1738, to Thomas Bloxom.7 He bought land in 1754 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Thomas Bloxom bought 50 acres of the John Morris part of tract A126 from Joseph and Comfort Bell.8 On 27 Nov 1759 in Acc Co, Thomas Bloxom & John Ross proved the will of Joseph Bell, wife Comfort. Deposition of Thomas Bloxom: That the foregoing will was written by him at the direction of the testator, and that the devise to Woodman Bloxom was not by his direction, but was desired so to do by Woodman who had the consent of the said Joseph for that purpose, as he told him, and that after he had wrote it he read it to the said Joseph who made no objection, but before he signed it the said Joseph was taken out of his senses and so remained while this deponent stayed. John Ross also deposed that he heard the said will read to the said testator. It is the opinion of the Court that the same is sufficiently proved, and ordered to be admitted to record.9 Thomas was named in his brother's will on 1 May 1770 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as a brother Thomas Bloxom and named Extr in the will of John Bloxom, wife Tabitha.10 Thomas was named in his niece's will on 18 December 1771 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as my uncle Thomas Bloxom in the will of Sarah Bloxom, brother Littleton Bloxom.11 He sold land in 1772 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Thomas Bloxom sold 152 acres of tract A126 to Isaac Smith. This included the 50 acres of the Morris part of the tract he purchased in 1754 from Joseph Bell and the 100 acres of the William Bloxom part of the tract that was deeded to him by Woodman Bloxom in 1753.7 Thomas was named in his father's will on 13 March 1778 at Accomack Co, VA.1 Thomas made a will on 18 August 1784 at Accomack Co, VA. To son John Bloxom personalty &c. "and that is due from the United States on account of his brother Thomas his Services or Depreciation". Plantation where I now live to be sold & he to have 1/2 the profits, & my wife Patience the other 1/2. To daughter Levinah Kelly. Daughter Susanna Reed Evans. Son John Exr., James Duncan & Thomas Fletcher to audit & settle my estate. Witt: Woodman Bloxom, William Bloxom, Richard Bloxom.3 He died before 26 October 1784 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated.3

It was in this year that Simpson Bloxom bought 100 acres of Whitelaw's tract A139 from William Abbott & wife Susanna.3 On 27 Mar 1753 in Acc Court Simpson Bloxom sued Thomas Bennet, who failed to appear. Bloxom was to recover £1:19:08 plus costs.4 He sold land in 1778 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Simpson Bloxom sold 145 acres he had accumulated to Scarburgh Bloxom, who in 1796 sold as 154 acres to Thomas Fletcher.3 Simpson was named in his father's will on 13 March 1778 at Accomack Co, VA.1

He married Elizabeth Watkinson, daughter of Peter Watkinson (I) and Dorothy Gray, circa 1710.1 Bartholomew Twiford Sr. married Sarah (-----), daughter of Susanna (-----), circa 1740.2 Bartholomew made a will on 4 January 1759 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Bartholomew Twifoot. To wife Sarah house & plantation during her widow then to be sold & money divided between my 3 sons, Daniel, John & Bartholomew Twifoot. To Sarah Lingo. To Rachel Lingo. Sons James, Levin & William Twifoot residual legatees. Wife & Thomas Custis Exrs. Witt: Elishe Custis, Southe Savage, Brigit Chance.3 He died before 27 February 1759 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated. Bartholomew Twifoot, Jr., heir at law to the testator - Sheriff returned said citation "Bartholomew Twifoot not found within my Bailiwick."4

She was shown as wife Abigail and given my whole estate, real & personal, in the will of Peter Watkinson.3 Abigail died before 28 March 1749 at Accomack Co, VA.4,5

Drummond..1 He married Elizabeth Wise Cropper Blackstone, daughter of John Blackstone and Elizabeth (454) Wise, on 7 June 1816 at Accomack Co, VA. Richard D. Bayly was the security on the M.L.B. of Thomas R. Riley and Elizabeth Blackstone of John.3 Thomas Robinson Riley died on 27 January 1846 at Washington, DC, at age 62. On Tuesday the 27th instant, Mr. Thomas Robinson Riley, a native of the county of Accomac, State of Virginia, but for the last 20 years a resident of this city. His funeral will take place on Thursday next at 2 o'clock. The friends of the family are invited. Personal Sketches--District of Columbia, p. 265 - Thomas Robinson Riley, father of W.R.S. Riley, was a native of Accomac county, Va., having been born July 10, 1783. He was a man of much influence in the county and was a member of the old county court and high sheriff. In 1816 he married Elizabeth Cropper Blackstone, of his own county, and to their marriage were born ten children, viz: Wm. R.S., Ann Robinson Smith, Thomas Wise, of Sinnickson, Accomac county, Va., and Elizabeth Wise, who died in 1879, the wife of Benjamin T. Hodges of Prince George's county, Md; Ellen Robinson, who died May 20, 1872, the wife of Charles Frederick Stansbury of Washington; Laura Custis; John Blackstone, who died in 1851, aged twenty-three, unmarried; Philander Chase, died in 1884; he married Virginia Smith, daughter of Benjamin Price Smith, of Washington; Melinda Hack, wife of Eldridge J. Smith; Catharine Custis, wife of John J. Smolinski of Washington. The father of this family died in January 1846, having been a widower since December 6, 1834. John Riley, father of T.R. Riley and grandfather of W.R.S. Riley was born in Accomac county, Va., where he was engaged in planting until his death in 1790. He was married to Elizabeth Smith, and of his two children--a son and a daughter--Thomas R. lived to maturity, and the daughter died in infancy. William Robinson Smith Riley dropped the Smith from his name when he entered into business. Will of Thomas R. Riley, of City of Washington, D.C. (dtd. Jan. 14, 1846, probated Feb. 3, 1846, Will Book 6) To oldest child, William R. Riley, all property. Wits.: Nathaniel Pope Causin; Harvey Lindsly; Joseph H. Bradley.2 Thomas was buried at Congressional Cemtery, Washington, DC.2
