Henry was born circa 1718 at Accomack Co, VA. Henry was named in his father's will on 3 February 1724 at Accomack Co, VA.1 He married Catharine Lilliston, daughter of Thomas Lilliston Sr. and Ann Willett, circa 1740.2 Henry Grinnalds sold land on 27 January 1740/41 at Job's Island, Acc Co, VA. Henry Grinals, planter, to William Young Jr., planter, for 15 pounds, a tract of land & marsh containing 50 acres on the Bayside, on an island called Job's Island or Hill's Choice.3 He bought land in 1742 at tract A108, north side Hunting Creek, Acc Co, VA. It was in this year that Robert Thorns, son of Joseph, sold 120 acres of tract A108 to Henry Grinalls, the deed stating that Thorns owned the land by right of inheritance, so it is possible that his father Joseph had married one of the daughters and co-heirs of Robert Lewis. In 1743 a Lucresha Smith sold 100 acres to Henry Grindals, she being a widow at the time. Before her marriage to Smith, she had been the widow of William Sherwood.4 He was security on the administration of an estate on 26 March 1751 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of William Sherwood was granted to Rachel Sherwood with Henry White & Henry Grinnalds securities.5 Henry died in February 1758. In 1758 Henry Greenalds, wife Catherine, died intestate and was succeeded by a son Elijah, who in 1818, wife Sarah, left to his son Southy the part between the creek and the neck road, and to his son William that above the road; after the death of William a few years later, his part was bought by Southy..2,6 Administration of Henry's estate was filed on 28 March 1758 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Catherine Greenalds was named to settle the estate of Henry Greenalds. Isaiah Johnson & Elijah Lilliston were the securities.2 He left land in 1758 at tract A108, north side Hunting Creek, Acc Co, VA. It was in this year that Henry Greenalds (wife Catherine) died intestate and was succeeded by a son Elijah, who in 1818 (wife Sarah) left to his son Southy the part between the creek and the neck road, and to his son William that above the road; after the death of William a few years later, his part was bought by Southy. In 1844 he and his wife Maria Grinnalds sold a 200-acre plantation to Shalmaneser Davis.4
