Miles, a 24 year old fireman, born in Accomack Co, VA and living in Newport News, VA and she was shown as Minnie P. Godwin, age 22, born & living in Acc Co, the daughter of M. Fitchett & Mollie Godwin. They were married at Irvin Onley's in Modest Town. (Note: Irvin Onley had married her sister Blanch.).¹ William died on 22 May 1961 at age 81.²

     Conflicting evidence states that Victor was born in 1895.¹ Victor was born on 5 May 1896 at Johnsontown, Northampton Co, VA.² He married Emory Sara Lee Mapp, daughter of Edwin Thomas Mapp and Lorraine Lee 'Lula' Coates, in 1922. Victor died in August 1961 at age 65.² His body was interred at Johnson Ch Cem, Johnsontown, N'hamp Co, VA.¹

     Eli was employed at as a Sailor. Eli was born circa 1840.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Sparrow, daughter of Jacob Sparrow Jr. and Delilah Evans, circa 1860. He married Matilda J. Sparrow, daughter of Jacob Sparrow Jr. and Delilah Evans, on 7 January 1875 at Gloucester Co, VA.¹ Eli was living in 1875 at Baltimore, MD.¹

     Edmund was born in 1648 at England.¹ He married Ann (-----) before 29 December 1687 at Northampton Co, VA.² Edmund was mentioned in a will on 2 October 1688 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Richard Watson named Edmund Allen & Ann Allen his wife, to be overseers of his goddaughter Ann (under age) the daughter of Mary Scale, which is now wife to Thomas Iremonger.³ He married Margaret Drummond, daughter of Capt. John Drummond (I) (Quaker) and Patience Hill, circa 1690.⁴ Edmund was named as an heir on 26 August 1707 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Edmund Allen in the will of Stephen Drummond, being now intending to go to sea. (NOTE: It may have been the younger Edmund Allen.).⁵ Edmund died before 2 October 1711 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Edmund Allen was granted to his widow Margaret Allen with James Drummond & John Drummond securities..⁶

     Richard Lee was mayor of Maidstone, Co Kent, England (Living Descendants of Blood Royal, Vol. 5, p. 381). Richard was born circa 1525 at Delee Magna, Rochester, Co Kent, England.¹ He married Elizabeth Crispe, daughter of John Crispe IV and Katherine (-----), on 19 February 1552.²

     Franklin was a member of the armed forces serving at Pvt, 49th Infantry, WWI.¹ Franklin was born on 2 September 1892.¹ Franklin died on 19 October 1965 at age 73.¹ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Emma, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George R. McCready, formerly of Sanford, VA, but who now lives at Harborton, VA, was dead and buried at Mulberry Cem. (Pen. Ent., 14 Jan 1922). Marshall, aged 26 years and wife of Ranford Marshall, died on 25 Mar 1931 at her husband's father home at Sanford. Funeral services were at home by the Rev. F.C. Walls with interment in the Williams family cemetery. She was survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph C. Williams, her husband, 2 sisters and 5 brothers, all of who were listed (E.S.      Page Lewis, the little son of Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Lewis of Sanford, died on Monday afternoon, 23 Jul 1923, aged 16 months, after a short illness. Interment was made in Myrtle Grove Cemetery (Pen.      Helen Lewis, the only child of Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Lewis of Sanford, died at their home of brain fever on 24 Jun 1905, aged 2 and 1/2 years (Acc News, 1 Jul 1905).      A twin son of Mr. Swain Crockett died on 24 Mar 1924, aged one year (Pen. Ent., 29 Mar 1924). According to his mother, Dola, he was burried on his birthday and he had a twin sister, Connie. (twin was born on 26 March 1923 at Saxis Island, Acc Co, VA.² (twin died on 24 March 1924.¹

     Alice Holland Marshall, 88, wife of the late John Hildrop Marshall and a resident of Temperanceville for many years, died in Accomack County Nursing Home, on Monday, 15 Aug 1994. Born and reared in Assawoman, she was the daughter of the late Edward Holland and Evelyn Bunting Holland. She was a retired telephone operator of Temperanceville and a member of the Temperanceville United Methodist Church. Graveside services were held at Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Temperanceville, conducted by the Rev. Richard Buttone. Mrs. Marshall is survived by several nieces and nephews (E.S. News, 20 Aug 1994). Alice was born in 1906 at Assawoman, Acc Co, VA.¹ Alice was living in 1925 at Assawoman, Acc Co, VA.² Alice died on 15 August 1994 at County Nursing Home, Acc Co, VA.¹ Her body was interred at J.W. Mr. Frank Young, aged 51 years of Mears, died on 11 May 1934. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Heath at Bethel Church with burial in Groton's Cemetery. Survivors included a wife, a mother, 1 daughter, 1 son, 1 adopted daughter Flora Ellen Bernard, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, all of who were named (E.S. News, 18 May 1934)..³ His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.³

     Vicie was born on 22 April 1878 at Accomack Co, VA.² She married Frank Pierce Young, son of Alfred David Young and Susan Jane Bloxom, on 5 February 1901 at Accomack Co, VA. He was an 18 year old farmer and she was age 21.      Kennie Crockett, son of Mr. & Mrs. William Crockett of Saxis, died Saturday, 18 Feb 1928, of ptomaine poison, aged 2 years 6 months. Burial was in the Ellis Cemetery. He was survived by his parents and one brother, John Crockett (Pen. Ent., 25 Feb 1928) and (E.S. News, 24 Feb 1928). Kenneth was born circa 1926 at Saxis Island, Acc Co, VA.² Kenneth died on 18 February 1928 at Saxis Island, Acc Co, VA.² His body was interred at Ellis Cem, Saxis, Acc Co, VA.²

Listed with him were the following Smiths: Susan, age 29 and keeping house; Oceanna, age 10 and at school; Sarah Smith, age 5; Medora Smith, age 3; and Sarah Stant, age 50 and a domestic servant..⁴ John died on 6 October 1911. Her death record showed that she died of dropsy at age 35 and that she was the daughter of Geo. & Ann Evans, born in Acc Co, a housekeeper and the husband of Wm. W.
