For over 35 years he engaged in the building, repairing and refinishing of boats. In later years he resided in Atlantic, Acc Co, VA, in the summer and in Melbourne, FL, in the winter. George was born on 27 January 1895 at Wilmington, New Castle Co, DE. He married Emily Louise McKewen, daughter of Thomas Christopher McKewen and Margaret Fletcher Parker, on 4 June 1918 at Wilmington, New Castle Co, DE.1 George was living after 1979 at Chincoteague, Acc Co, VA. George died on 26 December 1982 at P.G. Hospital, Salisbury, Wic Co, MD, at age 87.
