     According to Charles Walker and Barbara (Witham) Martin, this infant, along with its mother, Florence (Feddeman) Witham, died during childbirth. Mary was born in November 1889 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of Melville Edwin Witham and Florence Virginia Feddeman.

     Ella was born circa 1852.¹ She married James H. Feddeman on 5 April 1875 at Worcester Co, MD.¹

She was shown as Margie Littleton, age 14 in HH#430 headed by Rome Littleton, age 36 and his wife Sallie Littleton, age 37.. She married Rufus Benjamin Bayly on 12 May 1917 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.² Marjorie was living in 1917 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.² She married John H. Stant after 1938.^3,1 Marjorie died in 1990.³ Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.³

     Rufus was born in 1892 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Teackle Bayly Jr. and Mary 'Manie' Stant. He married Marjorie A. 'Margie' Littleton on 12 May 1917 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.³ Rufus was living in 1935 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.¹ Rufus died on 11 April 1938. Mr. Rufus B. Bailey, aged 45 years of Sanford, died on 11 Apr 1938 following an auto accident. Services were conducted at Pocomoke Methodist Church on 12 Apr by Rev. E.C. Wilmer, with interment in the Drummond Cemetery, Sanford (later moved to Downing's). He was survived by a widow, 3 daughters, 1 son, 1 sister, and 2 brothers, all of who were listed (E.S. News, 11 Apr 1938)..⁴ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     Carrie was born circa 1874.² She was the daughter of William H. Shaw Sr. and Tabitha Martin. She married Edward T. Hinman on 6 November 1892 at Somerset Co, MD.² Carrie was living in 1931.¹

     Jefferson was born on 25 November 1931 at Hacks Neck, Acc Co, VA.² He was the son of Jefferson F. Stevens and Etta Mae Bell. Jefferson was a member of the armed forces serving at US Coast Guard, Korea & Vietnam.² Jefferson died on 11 October 1993 at Virginia Beach Mem Hosp, Virginia Beach, VA, at age 61.² His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     John was born on 19 June 1888 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of James Henry Smith and Cecelia Fletcher 'Cecie' Hall. He married May Smith on 7 March 1910.^1,2 John was living in 1931 at Ricestown, MD.³

     Littleton was born circa 1850.² He married Hester E.A. Stant on 18 January 1876 at Worcester Co, MD.²

     Sarah was born circa 1863.¹ She married John L. Read on 22 December 1903 at Worcester Co, MD.¹

     Annie was born on 9 September 1883 at Powellville, MD.¹ She was the daughter of Charles W.S. Truitt and Sarah Elizabeth Dennis. She married William Henry Glenn circa 1900.² Annie was living in 1946 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA.¹ Annie died on 8 June 1962 at Salisbury, Wic Co, MD, at age 78.¹ Her body was interred at J.W.      Stephen was born circa 1770 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Nathan Linton Sr. and Elizabeth (-----). Stephen was the security on a M.L.B. dated on 7 April 1812 at Accomack Co, VA. Stephen Linton and Nathaniel Linton were securities on the M.L.B. of Elijah Linton and Fosset Sterling..² Stephen was named in his father's will on 9 August 1814 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as a son Stephen W. Linton in the will of Nathan Linton and if Stephen should not come back, the my daughter Comfort 'Tiler' would inherit his son's share except the Stephen Adams' account..¹

     Comfort was born circa 1795 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Nathan Linton Sr. and Elizabeth (-----). She married (-----) Tyler h|o Comfort Linton circa 1813.³ Comfort was named in her father's will on 9 August 1814 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as my daughter Comfort Tyler in the will of Nathan Linton..¹ Comfort was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Comfort Tyler, aged 65 in HH#679, headed by Nathaniel Byrd, aged 53. Since there were 35 people in the household, it must have been the poor house..⁴ Comfort was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1870 at Metompkin District, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Comfort Tyler, age 75 and a pauper in HH#MT501 headed by George Guy, a 33 year old stewart of the poor..⁵ Comfort died on 6 August 1872 at Lee District, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Comfort Tyler, who died of small pox at the age of 72 years. She was born in Acc Co and was shown as a pauper. A. Annis gave the information..⁵

     William was born circa 1778 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Nathan Linton Sr. and Elizabeth (-----). He married Hannah Evans circa 1800.² William was living in 1814.¹ William was named in his father's will on 9 August 1814 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as a son William Linton in the will of Nathan Linton..³ He made a will on 26 July 1833 at Somerset Co, MD. He named a wife Hannah, a son Jacob Linton (schooner and land) and 4 daughters, but only one by name, Fanny Bedsworth. Witnesses were Littleton Johnson, Daniel Ballard and Daniel Ford..⁴ William died in 1834.⁵ William's will was probated on 7 October 1834 at Somerset Co, MD.⁵
