(Note: Although the record shows the will was written on 21 Sep 1839, partly proved on 28 Oct 1838 and fully proved on 25 Nov 1839, the year on the written and partly proved must have been reversed. This assumption is based on the codicil being dated 26 Sep 1839, and he would have likely revised his will only 5 days after writting it, and his brother William, who he named in his will, had his will partly proven on 25 Feb 1839, which would have been before Thomas' will was written, and Thomas would not have named a deceased son in his will.).3 Thomas died in October 1839.3 Thomas's will was probated on 25 November 1839 at Accomack Co, VA.
