     Elizabeth Wright hired half of 138 acres of the Isaiah Hickman land from her mother in 1866. No record of her selling this land has been found. She was shown as Elizabeth Wrigh, age 55 with personal property valued at $800, in HH#1339 headed by Rebecca Wright, age 77..³ Elizabeth died on 10 April 1870 at Metompkin, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Eliz. Wright, who died of rose cancer at the age of 64 years and 3 months. She was the daughter of Thos. & Eliz. Wright, born in Acc Co, and an unmarried housekeeper. Her brother Thomas Wright gave the information. (Note: Her mother being named as Eliz. was evidently an error, for it is clear that her mother and the mother of her brother Thomas, was Rebecca.).⁴

Catherine Wright wrote her will on 23 June 1890 and it was probated on 8 November 1893. She left her personal estate to her nephew, William T. Wright, provided he pay her medical bills, funeral expenses and other debts, with the exception of "one pair of gold spectacles and a half dozen silver tablespoons" which were to go to his daughter, Helen Wright, at his death..⁴ Catharine died on 26 October 1893. The newspaper showed her as Catherine Wright, who died 26 October 1893 at 80 years. She was the Aunt of Wiliam T. Wright. (Pen. Ent., November 4, 1893 issue)..⁵
