Elizabeth, widow of John Jenkinson, married Jonathan Bunting after Jenkinson death in 1744/45..3 John died in January 1745.4 John's estate was administered on 29 January 1745 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Jesse Jenkinson was named to settle the estate of John Jenkinson. Andrew English & Thomas Parramore were the securities..4 John deeded land as a gift in 1745 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that he died intestate, apparently childless, and his widow Elizabeth married Jonathan Bunting. In 1762 the Buntings deeded to their youngest son Esme, to take effect upon their deaths. In 1786 Johnathan, Elizabeth and Esme united in a deed to Samuel Wilson for 30 acres, which became one of the wood lots of A161. On that same date, Jonathan and Elizabeth deeded the balance as 251 acres to their eldest son George, who in 1811 left the north part to his son Elijah and the balance to his son George. In 1813 Esme Bunting sued under the deed of 1762 and was awarded 66 acres in the southeast corner, but the balance went to his brother George's heirs..3

     Moses was born circa 1706 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Thomas Jenkins and Elizabeth Booth. Moses was named in his father's will on 17 January 1721 at Accomack Co, VA.1 Moses sold land in 1738 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Moses Jenkinson had the entail docked and sold to George Stewart by a General Court deed. In 1741 Stewart and his wife Comfort deede to George Douglas, who endorsed the document to the effect that it was to him only in trust, and that he was to deed it to John Jenkinson and Hugh McBright as soon as they had made a division between them; later in the year, McBright received 117 acres and the balance was added to the John Jenkinson part below it. In 1744 Hugh and Ann McBright sold to William Smith, and while a disposition by him was not noted, the next owner was a George Smith, who in 1791 (wife Rebecca) left to his son Custis Smith..2

In describing the ownership of tract A147 (in the Hallwood - Temperanceville area), Whitelaw states that Edward Thornton married Tabitha by 1750. She was the widow of William Sharpely who died by 30 Mar 1742..2

This would seem to be the only reason to leave anything to Scarburgh West and this would be consistent with his other bequeaths..1 (d|o_Rich_II) died before 19 April 1726. It is assumed that she died before her father wrote his will, since she was not named, but Scarburgh West was named in the will of Richard Bayly, along with many other grandchildren..1
