     Elizabeth was born on 5 March 1757 at Accomack Co, VA.3 She was the daughter of Major Rowles and Elizabeth (87) West. Elizabeth was named in her grandfather's will on 29 February 1772 at Accomack Co, VA. She was named as granddaughter Elizabeth Rowles in the will of John West of Andua and Abel West was named as a son of John West. When Abel West's estate was settled in 1816 Charlotte Bayly acknowledged receipt of $2,161.25 in property from her uncle Abel West's estate and on 7 Jun 1821 she received another $4,226.05 in full for the balance of the estate of Abel West dec'd.
