She named a son John Pettigrew who was to have the management of his brother's estate, provided he will bring him up, giving him sufficient English schooling and clothing. She also named a son Gauven Pettigrew, Sarah Johnson, wife of Shadrack Johnson (Indian)..⁴ Leah died in April 1773 at Accomack Co, VA.⁴ Leah's will was probated on 27 April 1773 at Accomack Co, VA.²

     William was born circa 1684. He was the son of William (11) Andrews (III) and (1w|o_Wm_Andrews) Howard. He married Mary Selby on 5 April 1720.² William deeded land as a gift in 1745 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that William Andrews gave 130 acres of Whitelaw's tract A126 to his daughter Leah, the wife of James Pettigrew. It was the east end of the land along the bayside road. After the death of Pettigrew in 1772, Leah gave this land to her son John, and 5 years later he and wife Anne sold it, along with some other acreage, to Nathaniel L.
