     Peter was born circa 1640. He married Winefred Taylor circa 1660. He made a will in September 1686 at Accomack Co, VA. Verbal will: declaration made on this date. Whole estate to wife and children (no names)..1 Peter died in November 1686 at Accomack Co, VA. By a verbal will, he left everything to his wife and children, but no names were given. In 1710 in a division among the children, it developed that their were four daughters, Elizabeth who married Giles Copes, Mary who married Thomas Copes, Rachell who married Sebastian Cropper, and Sarah who married Samuel Simpson..2 Peter's will was probated on 30 November 1686 at Accomack Co, VA. Proved by William Parker, age about 34, and Mary Martiall, age about 55..1

In 1787 Selby Simpson and his wife Grace sold 10 acres of the John Hickman part of Whitelaw's tract A115, which is just east of the present town of Parksley, to John Berry Hickman..1 Grace was named in her grandfather's will on 8 June 1780 at Accomack Co, VA. Her grandfather was John Kittson, whose wife was Elizabeth. He named sons-in-law Charles Bagwell and Thomas Crippen; grandsons John and Thomas Crippen, Thomas Evans, Charles Bagwell, John Kittson Evans; a granddaughter Grace Simpson. He also named Richard Bundick. The two sons-in-law were executors. Witnesses were Robert James, Thomas Taylor and Rebecca Warrington..2 Grace was named in her grandmother's will on 2 October 1783 at Accomack Co, VA. Her grandmother Elizabeth Kitson named Mary Gladding, Rebecca a daughter of Mary Gladding, Thomas Crippen, Grace Simpson, John Kitson Evans, Thomas Nock, William Laws, and Rachel Thornton. In Order of probate Thomas Copes heir at law to the testator cited to appear by Southy Rew, his guardian, and no objection being made said will was admitted to probate.
