He married Henrietta 'Henny' (-----) circa 1835.³ Revell witnessed a will on 7 June 1842 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Revell Thornton, J.W. Duncan and Robert Snead witnessed the will of Elizabeth Hickman. Revell Thorton and Robert Snead were also securities at probate..⁴ He married Sally (-----) circa 1845 at Accomack Co, VA. Revell was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Revel Thornton the head of HH#136, a 35 year old sailor.
