She was age 30, with a son John Bundick, age 5. She was not found in the 1880 census, but a John Bundick, age 15, was in the household of George Barnes.. Mary died on 3 June 1887 at Accomack Co, VA. The death register lists her age as 45 when she died, the daughter of Tabitha Bundick (she was raised by her step-grandmother, Tabitha Taylor Bundick Annis). Her death was reported by her son John T.
