     Solomon Gray's will of 9 May 1788 specified: To son Solomon Gray 60 acres at the northwest end of my plantation. Remainder of my land to my two daughters, Tabitha and Ann Gray, and for want of heirs to my daughter Sarah Gray. To son Thomas Gray, he to have liberty to get timber to support and supply the seaside plantation which he is heir to. William Thornton and Parker Paradise Executors. Witnesses Benjamin West and Richard Sparrow. In order of probate, John Bundick qualified (Acc Co Wills, 1788-1794, p. 91). In 1765 Solomon Gray purchased land from John and Rachel Sterling, and in 1788 he left 60 acres at the northwest end to his son Solomon, and the balance to his daughters Tabitha and Ann Gray. Tabitha married Edward Kilman and in 1794 a survey gave each of the daughters 29 acres (Whitelaw, p. 1117 - tract A113). Solomon was born circa 1724 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Thomas Gray and Tabitha Melson. He married Sorrowful Ruth Underhill circa 1760.2 Solomon died in 1788 at Accomack Co, VA.3 Solomon's will was probated on 31 July 1788 at Accomack Co, VA.3

Executor was friend, John Arlington. Witnesses were Jane Arlington, Hetty Savage, Margaret Parker, and Mary S. Scarborough. The will was proved by Mary S. Eichelberger, w/o Wm. F. Eichelberger, a witness thereto, and Jno. Arlington who testified to the hand writting of Jane Arlington. Securities on the bond to probate were James H. Dix, Edmund R. Allen, Robert J.
