This circa death date is based on her last husband, John Newbold, marring second, his cousin Rachel Newbold and having a daughter Esther, who married in 1774 (assuming Esther would have been about age 20 at the time of her marriage, placing her birth at circa 1754)..³

Elizabeth was named in her father's will on 12 December 1677 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as daughter Elizabeth (under 14) in the will of Robert Mason.      Dr. John Rhoades of Wells, Somersetshire, England, immigrated to Northampton Co, VA, by 1662 and then to Annemessex, Somerset Co, MD, by 1663. His home was "Sallisbury," 200 acres on the north side of the Annemessex River, southwest of the village of Upper Fairmount (1663-1672). Chuck Warrington reports that the will of Richard Hinman, witten 30 Jan 1741, names a daughter Naomy Roades, widow of John Roades. This implies that John Rhoades died before 30 Jan 1741..³
