     James Feddeman is mentioned in Accomack Land Causes, 1728-1825, compiled by Stratton Nottingham, on p112 in "Parks, &c. vs - Partition Suit. Hickman," summarized as follows: In 1792 Charles Parks left 22 acres to his two daughters, Peggy and Elizabeth (Betty) Parks, when they became of lawful age. Betty married Arthur Hickman and had an infant son James Hickman, who inheritated his mother's share of the 22 acres when she died in 1803. Then in 1811, Peggy sold her share of the 22 acres to James "Fiddeman" so that James Fiddeman and James Hickman were then tenants in common &c.      Annie Sewell, oldest child of John S. and Laticia B. Gaskins, born 26 Apr 1858, died 21 Aug 1907. She married John R. Thomas on 28 Jul 1875 and had 11 children of which 10 are living (they were named). The memorial service was conducted at the Pocomoke M.E. Church (Acc News, 7 Sep 1907). Annie was born on 26 April 1858 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of John Selby Gaskins Sr. and Letitia Romalina Broadwater. Letitia was born on 22 April 1835 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Walter J. Broadwater Jr. and Mary Lee 'Polly' Burton. Letitia was listed with her parents in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.
