Witnesses were Drummond Welburn, Tabitha Bloxom and Mary Welburn. At probate Wm. Welburn took oath and gave bond with John S. Ker(?) and Drummond Welburn securities (Acc Co Wills &c., 1800-04, p. 562). Southy was born circa 1765 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of (-----) Broadwater and Susanna Watts. Southy was living on 18 July 1774 at Accomack Co, VA.1,2 He married Esther Hill on 19 October 1791 at Accomack Co, VA.3 Southy died in January 1803.4 Southy's will was probated on 31 January 1803 at Accomack Co, VA.4
