Sons Thomas and Bayly were to have 400 acres where I now dwell. The executrix was wife Anne. Witnesses were Richard Justice, Samuel Cowley and Caesar Evans. In order of probate Thomas Hinman heir at law to the testator (Acc Co Wills &c., 1743-49, p. 248). Argoll was born circa 1690 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Richard Hinman (I) and Elizabeth Gray. He married Anne (-----) circa 1710.2 Argoll was living on 24 July 1721 at Guilford Creek, Acc Co, VA.1 Argoll died in 1745.3 Argoll's will was probated on 26 November 1745 at Accomack Co, VA.3

Witnesses were Edward Ashbye, Thomas Dant, James Gray and Daniel Darby (Acc Co Wills & Deeds, 1676-90(vi), p. 405). Since no guardian was named for son James MacComb at probate, could he have been over 21 years old? John was born circa 1650. He married Elizabeth Gray circa 1680.1 John died in 1685.2 John's will was probated on 7 July 1685 at Accomack Co, VA.2

To daughter Ester Gray, alias Aymes, plantation where I now live for life, containing 200 acres, then 100 acres to my grandson James Aymes and 100 acres to William Aymes. To daughter Elizabeth Gray, alias Hinman, 200 acres adjacent the above for life, then to granddaughter Ester Macome, alias Hornsby, and for want of heirs to the heirs of my daughter Elizabeth by her present husband Richard Hinman. James Gray, Joseph Ames and Richard Bayly overseers of my will and children's estates. Witnesses were James Gray, Joseph Ames and Richard "Bally" (Acc Co Wills & Deeds, p. 480). Peter was born circa 1660. He married Dorothy Gray circa 1680.1 Peter died in 1688.2 Peter's will was probated on 10 September 1688 at Accomack Co, VA.2
