     In his will, written 24 Jul 1721, Richard Hinman of Guilford Creek named a wife Elizabeth and sons John, Argill and Baly Hinman. John got 800 acres of land and marsh at Guilford Creek. To sons Argill and Baly 1000 acres to be divided between them, that is 400 acres where I now live and 600 acres below the land of Weatherington Fitchett. Wife and children residual legatees. Wife Elizabeth was the executrix. Witnesses were Edmond Tatham, Benjamin Royall, John Johnson and Weatherington Fitchett (Acc Co Wills, Deeds &c., v.i., p. 363). Richard was born circa 1650. He was the son of John Hinman Sr. and Sarah (-----). He married Mary Merrideth circa 1670.2 He married Mary Avery circa 1685.2 He married Elizabeth Gray circa 1686.3 Richard died in 1721.4 Richard was living on 24 July 1721 at Guilford Creek, Acc Co, VA.4 Richard's will was probated on 1 August 1721 at Accomack Co, VA.4
