N-1c Caleb died 9 Sept 1825, Norfolk City, Norfolk, VA. In his obituary it is stated that he was born about 1802. This is the obit from the "American Beacon", 10 Sept 1825 in the lower right hand corner of the page: "DIED, yesterday morning, in the 23rd year of his age, after a short illness, of bilious fever, MR. CALEB A. FISHER, Bricklayer, a native of Northampton county (E.S. Va.) and for some time a resident of this Borough, where he was married in January last, and has left a wife to lament a sudden and severe deprivation. The friends and acquaintenances of the deceased are invited to attend
his funeral this morning at 11 o'clock, from his late residence on Duke street, adjoining the residence of Rich'd L. Green, Esq'r." As you see he died 8 months after his wedding. His daughter was born 9
months to the day after the wedding. She was Margaret Susan Fisher who was born 2 Oct 1825, Norfolk City. Her mother Mahala Barlow (Cowdrey) Fisher didn't remarry for 6 years and then she married George Washington Topliff (Topiliff), 1 Feb 1832 in the Methodist Church in Norfolk City. Same source as her first marriage: (pp. 100, 126: Reference: VA. N-1c). Caleb was born circa 1802 at Northampton Co, VA. He was the son of George (121) Fisher and Susanna Joynes. Caleb died before 1832.1
