     In his will, written 18 Dec 1776, Shadrack Fisher named a brother Isaac Fisher and and sister Sally Walker. He left each of them half of his estate if he never returned. Witnesses were Solomon Johnson, Robert Small and Elijah Bird. In order of probate Salathiel Fitchet qualified (Acc Co Wills &c., 1777-80, p. 32). Evidently he volunteered to fight in the Revolutionary War and died by 30 Sep 1777 when his will was probated. (-----) was born circa 1730.

     Shadrack was born circa 1755 at Accomack Co, VA. He was under age in 1771 when he was bound out by the church wardens, but wrote a will in 1776.. He was the son of (-----) Fisher f|o Shadrack, etc.. He made a will on 18 December 1776 at Accomack Co, VA. To brother Isaac Fisher 1/2 my estate and to my sister Sally Walker the other 1/2 "if I never return." Witnesses Solomon Johnson, Robert Small and Elijah Bird..2 Shadrack sold land on 18 December 1776 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Shadrack Fisher sold 45 acres of Whitelaw's tract A135 to Robert Small; no record of his having bought it was found, so he may have married a Brimer daughter. It was sold for 40 lbs and descirbed as a tract on one fork of Muddy Creed Branch, running along Wm. Glasbey's line to Simpson Bloxom's line that said Bloxom had of John Fisher and there to a branch. No wife cosigned. Witnesses Solomon Johnson, Rachel Johnson & Elijah Bird. On 27 May 1777 Shadrack Fisher's deed to Robert Small was proved by the oaths of the witnesses..3,4,5 Shadrack died in 1777.2 Shadrack's will was probated on 30 September 1777 at Accomack Co, VA. In the order of probate, Salathiel Fitchett qualified..2

He was named as son William Scarburgh and was given land on Cradock Creek in the will of William Scarburgh..2 William was named in his sister's will on 18 May 1767 at Accomack Co, VA. He was named as brother William Scarburgh in the will of Elizabeth Scarburgh..3 He married Margaret (526) Jacob on 23 April 1776 at Northampton Co, VA. John Wilkins of Occohannock was the security on the M.L.B. of William Scarburgh and Margaret Jacob. William was of Acc Co and she was the daughter of Abraham Jacob dec'd with consent of Isaac Clegg for his dau-in-law..4 He married Mary (-----) circa 1785 at Accomack Co, VA.5 William sold land in 1800 at Accomack Co, VA. William and Mary Scarburgh sold 216 acres to Thomas Bayly. This was on Craddock Creek between the land later owned by Coward and the Americus Scarburgh land. His title is not clear, but it may be that he was the William named in the 1756 will of William Scarburgh, and that by some agreement he was allowed to keep that part when his brother Edmund had been named heir-at-law to the father in inherit the balance of the land. (Note: It is not obvious why Whitelaw states that title is not clear, because his father William did name his son William and gave him land on Craddock Creek.).6 He made a will on 28 September 1801 at Norfolk, VA. Sons Thomas & Henry Extrs. To wife Mary my Negro lad Sam & my Negro girls Comfort & Patience & ... & at her death or marriage the above mentioned property & slaves to my son George & daughters Jenny, Betsy & Hannah, but in case my said wife refuses to except the benefits of my will in lieu of dower, then I give the above property to my children by my first wife & the remainder consisting of Negroes Isaac & Severn & also $1,800 owing me by Moses Mayor of Norfolk. The remainder to my children by my first wife Thomas, Henry, Esther, William & Abraham or the survivors. Witt: Americus Scarburgh, Mary Scarburgh & Sarah Scarburgh..5 William died in January 1802 at Norfolk, VA.5 William's will was probated on 26 January 1802 at Accomack Co, VA.      His common name was Fenwick. Fenwick was born in 1762.1 He married Rosannah 'Rosey' (-----) circa 1785.1 Fenwick witnessed a will on 25 May 1790 at Accomack Co, VA. On 25 May 1790, Fenwick Fisher, Hancock Copes and Levin Copes witnessed the will of South Copes (Acc Co Wills, 1788-94, p. 315).. Fenwick witnessed a will on 16 January 1792 at Accomack Co, VA. On 16 Jan 1792, Fenwick Fisher, Elisha Mears and David Ashby witnessed the will of John Ashby (Acc Co Wills, 1788-94, p. 468).. Fenwick witnessed a will on 12 October 1796 at Accomack Co, VA. On 12 Oct 1796, Dr. F. Fisher and Edmund Bayly Jr. were named the executors in the will of Hartly Sappington. Fisher got $300 and Edmund Bayly Jr. $150 (Acc Co Dist Wills & Deeds, 1789-99, p. 170).. Fenwick was named as administrator of an estate on 30 January 1798 at Accomack Co, VA. To my son Henry Gascoyne all my land in Northampton County when 21 or when married. [The widow Elizabeth married Daniel Benthall.].3 Henry died in 1691.1 Henry's will was probated on 30 March 1691 at Northampton Co, VA.1

     Henry was born circa 1678 at Northampton Co, VA. He was the son of Henry Gascoigne (I) and Elizabeth (6) Fisher. Henry was named in his father's will on 1 October 1690 at Northampton Co, VA.2 He made a will on 26 February 1699 at Northampton Co, VA. To my brother Thomas Gascoigne my gun. To my nephew Robert Gascoigne my plantation (formerly my grandfather William Gascoigne's) whereon Peter Smith now lives, until my brother William Gascoigne is 21 and then to said brother. To my grandfather (Capt.) Phillip Fisher my plantation which Daniel Mackeim now dwells at until my brother William come to age. To my brother William Gascoigne negro man Will. Remaining estate to be equally divided by my brothers. Witnesses Daniel Mackenny, Michael Halsbert and Aaron Westerhouse Jr..3 Henry died in March 1699 at Northampton Co, VA.3 Henry's will was probated on 30 May 1699 at Northampton Co, VA.3
