     John was born circa 1662 at Northampton Co, VA. He was the son of Capt. Phillip (4) Fisher (I) and Elizabeth Maddox. He married Elizabeth Benthall on 28 March 1698 at Northampton Co, VA.2 John was named in his father's will on 9 December 1701 at Northampton Co, VA. He was devised by his father one part of my land . . . beginning at the edge of a field by the name of Thomas his Field" and was to have use of both my mill and still for his own particular use . . . mill to grind corn for his family's use, and to still his own drink.".2 He made a will on 30 April 1720 at Northampton Co, VA. He, a planter, named 5 sons: Thomas, John, Daniel, Israil Banner and Benthall Fisher, and 4 daughers: Elizabeth James, Bridget, Abigall Fisher and Sarah Fisher. His daughter Elizabeth James got a negro woman Sue. Cattle were to remain on his plantation until his sons Israil Banner Fisher and Benthall Fisher were 18. His son Thomas was the executor. Witnesses were Obedience Johnson, Bartholomew Coasier and Thomas Marshall..3 John died in May 1720 at Northampton Co, VA.3 John's will was probated on 18 May 1720 at Northampton Co, VA.3

He married Patience 'V' (-----) circa 1690.3 Thomas was named in his father's will on 9 December 1701 at Northampton Co, VA. Devised by his father "also the plantation I now live on" and "my mill and my still.".2,1 Thomas died in 1709 at Northampton Co, VA.4 Thomas's estate was administered on 28 May 1709 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that Patience Fisher widow of the deceased was named to administer his estate on behalf of her and children. Securities were William Nichollson and Thomas Teague. Appraisers were Thomas Abdill, John Addison Jr., John Jacob and Robert Bell..4

Since Joakim, son of John and Ann (Tilney) Michael died unmarried in 1707, it was his brother's son Joakim who inherited as heir at law. Sarah was born circa 1678. She was the daughter of Capt.      Thomas Smith, John Fisher and William Bradford were named as kinsmen in Henry Gascoine's will of 1690 (N'hamp Co Orders, Wills, 1689-98, p. 94). Since John Fisher's sister Ann married Robert Gascoigne, and his sister Bridget married William Bradford and his sister Mary married a Smith, it is assumed that Mary's husband must have been this Thomas Smith. Thomas(?) was born circa 1660. Thomas(?) was living on 1 October 1690.1 He married Mary (12) Fisher before 1701.2
