John was born circa 1662 at Northampton Co, VA. He was the son of Capt. Phillip (4) Fisher (I) and Elizabeth Maddox. He married Elizabeth Benthall on 28 March 1698 at Northampton Co, VA.2 John was named in his father's will on 9 December 1701 at Northampton Co, VA. He was devised by his father one part of my land . . . beginning at the edge of a field by the name of Thomas his Field" and was to have use of both my mill and still for his own particular use . . . mill to grind corn for his family's use, and to still his own drink.".2 He made a will on 30 April 1720 at Northampton Co, VA. He, a planter, named 5 sons: Thomas, John, Daniel, Israil Banner and Benthall Fisher, and 4 daughers: Elizabeth James, Bridget, Abigall Fisher and Sarah Fisher. His daughter Elizabeth James got a negro woman Sue. Cattle were to remain on his plantation until his sons Israil Banner Fisher and Benthall Fisher were 18. His son Thomas was the executor. Witnesses were Obedience Johnson, Bartholomew Coasier and Thomas Marshall..3 John died in May 1720 at Northampton Co, VA.3 John's will was probated on 18 May 1720 at Northampton Co, VA.3
