William was born circa 1660 at Northampton Co, VA.2 He was the son of Capt. William (2) Andrews (II) and Dorothea (4) Robins. He married (1w|o_Wm_Andrews) Howard circa 1680. William Andrews first wife was possibly the daughter of Daniel Howard, the predecessor of Marcus Andrews in ownership of 100 acres which Marcus sold in 1720. Although Comfort Haggoman, Wiliam Andrews second wife, had a brother Marcus Haggoman, which might suggest that Marcus Andrews and his brother William Andrews were her children, such a conclusion is precluded by Isaac Andrews', another brother of Marcus and William Andrews, inheritance as heir at law of his niece Elizabeth Andrews, daughter of Nathaniel Andrews, another brother of Marcus and William Andrews..1 William was named as administrator of an estate on 29 March 1683 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that William Andrews was named to settle the estate of his mother Dorothea Andrews on behalf of his brothers and sisters..3 He married Comfort Haggoman circa 1685.4 He married Ann (-----) (widow of Thomas Ward) on 3 June 1718 at Accomack Co, VA.1
