     John Wise the younger was called Johannes to distinguish him from his older brother of the same name. In 1704 he owned 400 acres in Acc Co. John was born circa 1658 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Col. John Wise Sr. and Hannah [6] Scarburgh. He married Frances Parker circa 1700.2 He married Abigail Parker circa 1723.3 He made a will on 20 September 1741. He named a wife Abigail; sons Thomas, Matthew, Ezekiel, Johannis and Joseph Wise; daughters Tabitha Stockly and Drummond Simpson. To sons Thomas, Matthew and Ezekiel Wise and daughters Tabitha Stockly and Drummond Simpson 1s each. To wife Abigail 1/3 of personal estate. Balance of estate to my aforesaid children and wife and to my two sons Johannis and Joseph Wise. Wife executrix. Witneses were John Smith and George Parker..4 John died in 1741.5 John's will was probated on 29 December 1741 at Accomack Co, VA.5
