He would have to have his eyelids scraped often by the doctor. Robert was born circa 1885 at Portsmouth, VA. He was the son of Robert Handy Myers Sr. and Mary Ann Thompson. Robert died on 11 April 1962.1 His body was interred at Oak Grove Cem, Portsmouth, VA.1
