     Garrett was born circa 1598 at England.1 He married Amey (-----) circa 1638.2 He made a will on 26 August 1647 at Northampton Co, VA. To my eldest son Peter Anderson when 21, 200 acres out of the 400 acres dividend I am now seated upon, he to have his choice of which 200 acres he wants. And his mother-in-law (step-mother) during her widowhood to have the now dwelling house and land, and to act as his overseer as he comes to age. In case his mother-in-law should marry, then he to learn a trade. To my son Peter one fowling piece without a mussle, 3 pounds of powder and 12 pounds of shot, and a Bible. To my son-in-law (step-son) Richard Prickett when 21 one heifer, and 100 acres where my wife shall find it convenient, she to build him a 25 foot long house. My beloved wife Amey Anderson extrx. and resid. legatee. Wittness: Leinng Denwood (Northampton Co Deeds, Wills, etc., III, No. 3, 1645-1651, f. 147) In a subsequent deed of gift the widow names her four children, viz., Garrett, Amey, William and Elizabeth Anderson (Northampton Co Deeds, Wills, etc., III, No. 3, 1645-1651, p. 163)..3 Garrett died in 1648.3 Garrett's will was probated on 20 July 1648 at Northampton Co, VA.3

     Amey was born circa 1614. She married Richard Prickett circa 1630.1 She married Garrett Anderson I circa 1638.2 Amey was named in her husband's will on 26 August 1647 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as my beloved wife Amey and named Extr. and residual legatee in the will of Garrett Anderson..3 She married Nicholas Waddelowe after 1648.4 Amey was named as administrator of an estate on 6 March 1659 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that the estate of Nicholas Waddelowe was administered to Amy Waddelow, widow of the dec'd (Northampton Co Orders, VIII, No. 8, 1657-1664, p. 65). Amy married Mr. "Foolks" (Northampton Co Deeds, Wills, etc. IX, No. 7, 1657-1666, p. 85). Nicholas Waddilow gave power of attorney to Francis Hawksworth, Sr., woolen draper, of the town of Barnsley, Yorkshire (1651-1654, f. 227). Nicholas Waddelowe gave by deed of gift to his goddaughter Elizabeth Bundicke the daughter of Richard Bundicke (1654-1655, f. 53)..5 She married Thomas Fowkes on 30 September 1660. (NOTE: He evidently had no living heirs of his own, as he named some of the same heirs as did Amy in her will of 1678.).6 Amey was named in her husband's will on 10 September 1673 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as wife Amy and named Extr. in the will of Thomas Fowkes..6 She made a will on 20 August 1678 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as Amy Fowkes. Her verbal will was written down on 20 Aug 1678. To grandson George, eldest son of John & Amy Parker. To Naomy & Comfort, daughters of my son William Anderson. To Ambrose, eldest son of Ambrose & Comfort White. To Amy & Elizabeth, daughters of Robert & Temperance Mason. To William Nock & his son William Nock. To John, the son of William & Patience Nock.
