     Wm. T. Williams, aged 17 years, an upright young man and a christian, died at his father's residence near Shad Landing on 23 Mar 1885 (Pen. Ent., 28 Mar 1885). William was born in 1868.² William died on 23 March 1885 at Shad Landing Rd, Sanford, Acc Co, VA.²

The 1850 census puts his birth at 1829 and the 1860 census puts it at 1821..^1,2 He married Elishey Ann Stant on 26 December 1849 at Somerset Co, MD.³ Robert was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Robert Andrews, the head of HH#1008, a 21 year old farmer. Listed with him were Letitia Andrews, age 20 and George Only, age 13. They were living between George Martin and Peter Rayfield..² Robert was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Robert Andrews the head of HH#198, a 39 year old shoemaker. Listed with him were Elijah Andrews, a 31 year old female; William Cutler, age 12; and Benjamin Jenkins, age 8..¹ Robert was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1870 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Robert Andrews the head of HH#AT593, a 44 year old oysterman with real estate valued at $800. Listed with him were Elisha Andrews, age 36 and keeping house and Caroline Andrews, age 9.      Sewell was born on 26 October 1830 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Colmore S. 'Colly' Byrd and Hetty Taylor. Sewell was listed with his brother in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Sewell A. Bird, an 18 year old clerk in HH#34 headed by William S. Bird, a 27 year old merchant with real estate valued at $1,200..¹ He married Ellen J.S. James on 29 November 1853 at Worcester Co, MD.³ Sewell was living in 1859 at Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.⁴ He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁵ Sewell died on 9 July 1891 at age 60. Mr. Sewell A. Byrd, aged 61 years, departed this life on 9 Jul 1891. In 1853 he married Ellen J.S. James. 4 children survived him, none of who were listed (Pen. Ent., 5 Sep 1891)..⁶ His body was interred at Conquest Ch Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     In her will, signed 11 Sep 1901, Ellen J.S. Byrd named 1 son, S. Upshur Byrd and 3 daughters, Emily J. Nock w/o Nehemiah N. Nock, Ida G. Mason w/o Eugene R. Mason, and Ellen E. Byrd (bond owed by D. Sewell and O.B. Taylor). The executors were S. Upshur Byrd and Ellen E. Byrd. Witnesses were Thomas C. Kelley and Jas. W. Broughton (Acc Co Wills, 1901-04, p. 9). Ellen was born circa 1829 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She married Sewell A. Byrd on 29 November 1853 at Worcester Co, MD.² She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.¹ Ellen died in 1902.³ Ellen's will was probated on 31 March 1902 at Accomack Co, VA.³

     Emily was born circa 1854.² She was the daughter of Sewell A. Byrd and Ellen J.S. James. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.² She married Nehemiah N. Nock circa 1875.³ Emily was living in 1891.¹

     Ida was born circa 1859 at Accomack Co, VA.³ She was the daughter of Sewell A. Byrd and Ellen J.S. James. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁴ She married Eugene Robins Mason on 22 December 1880 at Mappsville, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Eugene Robins Mason, a 25 year old farmer, the son of Thorogood & Elizabeth Mason, and she was shown as Ida Grace Byrd, age 21, the daughter of Sewell A. & Ellen J.S. Byrd. They were married by G.H. Ray..³ Ida was living in 1891.¹

     Leyrena C. Byrd's birth year may be in error by one year as she was not listed in the 1860 Census. Leyrena was born on 19 March 1859 at Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of Sewell A. Byrd and Ellen J.S. James. Leyrena was living in 1891.²

     Sewell was born circa 1863 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Sewell A. Byrd and Ellen J.S. James. He married Lelia L. Mason on 26 January 1887 at Guilford, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Sewell U. Byrd, a 24 year old merchant, the son of Sewell A. & Ellen J. Byrd and she was shown as Lelia L. Mason, age 20, the daughter of Thorogood & Elizabeth Mason. They were married by J.W. Carroll..¹ Sewell was living in 1891.³

     Blanche was born circa 1876 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of Anthony Lamb Hall Jr. and Elizabeth T. Gladding. She married Dr. George B. Zell on 27 May 1892 at Messongo, Acc Co, VA. He was a 26 year old dentist from Delaware Co, PA and she was age 16. They were married by R. B. Scott..²

     George was born circa 1866 at Delaware Co, PA.¹ He was the son of George B. Zell Sr. and Debie J. (-----). He married Blanche Hall on 27 May 1892 at Messongo, Acc Co, VA. He was a 26 year old dentist from Delaware Co, PA and she was age 16. They were married by R. B. Scott..²

     George was born in 1870.¹ He married Elizabeth Ella Godwin on 21 December 1892 at Pocomoke Meth Ch, Grotons, Acc Co, VA.² George died in 1937.¹ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Miss Ella Godwin was married to Mr. George L. Shay on 21 Dec 1892 at Pocomoke M.E. Church South by Rev. R.B. Scott (Pen. Ent., 7 Jan 1892). Elizabeth was born in 1874.¹ She married George L. Shay on 21 December 1892 at Pocomoke Meth Ch, Grotons, Acc Co, VA.² Elizabeth died in 1934.¹ Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Edward was born circa 1870. He married Amy A. Evans on 19 August 1894 at Meth Ch, Sanford, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Miss Amy A. Evans and Mr. Edward Spencer were married on Sunday, 19 Aug 1894, at Sanford M.E. Church South, by Rev. D.J. Traynham (Pen. Ent., 25 Aug 1894). Amy was born circa 1870. She married Edward Spencer on 19 August 1894 at Meth Ch, Sanford, Acc Co, VA.²

     In 1860, a Samuel Byrd, age 40 and farming, was living in the Acc Parish HH#484, headed by Benjamin T. Byrd, age 33 and farming. In his will, signed 6 Jun 1894, Samuel C. Byrd named a nephew Johannes L. Byrd who was also the executor. Witnesses were Edward H. Conquest, John W. Johnson and Thomas Fountain (Acc Co Wills, 1882-1901, p. 305). Mr. Samuel Byrd, aged about 80 years, died on Thursday, 14 Mar 1895, near Mearsville (Pen. Ent., 23 Mar 1895). Samuel was employed at as a Farmer. Samuel was born on 30 October 1822 at Muddy Creek, Acc Co, VA.² He was the son of Johannas Byrd and Delana 'Laney' Coke. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.³ Samuel died on 15 March 1895 at Mearsville, Acc Co, VA, at age 72.² His body was interred at Bethel Bapt Ch Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.² Samuel's will was probated on 25 March 1895 at Accomack Co, VA.⁴

     Sykes - Mr. Geo. W. Marshall, aged 34 years, died of consumption on 7 Feb 1896 (Pen. Ent., 15 Feb 1896). George was born circa 1862.¹ He was the son of William Thomas Marshall and Emmaline Marshall. George died on 7 February 1896 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA.¹

     William was born on 19 May 1844 at New Orleans, LA.¹ He married Ella F. Bayly circa 1880.² William died on 5 January 1932 at Great Falls, MT, at age 87.¹

     Ella was born circa 1861 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bayly and Elizabeth K. (-----). Ella was listed with her parents in the census of in 1870 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.² She married William J. Boston circa 1880.³ Ella died on 28 March 1896 at Great Falls, MT. Mrs. Ella F. Boston, aged 36 years, wife of William J. Boston and daughter of Thomas Bailey, deceased this county (Acc) died 28 Mar 1896 after a long illness near Great Falls, Montana. Mrs. Boston was for many years a member of Bethel Baptist Church this County (Acc) (Pen. Ent., 25 Apr 1896)..¹

     Robert was born circa 1882. He was the son of William J. Boston and Ella F. Bayly. Robert died at youth.¹
