Also listed were Tabitha Wessells(?), age 28 and black and Mary Wessells(?), age 2 and black..¹ He married Susan Ann Mister at Accomack Co, VA. They were shown only as Major Guy and Susan A. Mister, who were married on 22 Oct 1847. This is probably in error, since he was with his mother Betsy in 1850 and Susan was still with her parents in 1850..^2,4 Major was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1860 at Pungoteague PO, St.George Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Major Guy the head of HH#1299, a 35 year old farmer with personal property valued at $500. Listed with him were the following Guys: Susan A., age 30; Missouri, age 8; Lloyd, age 7; Catharine, age 5; and John, age 3. Also listed was John West, age 12; and William Mister, age 61, who was evidently the father of his wife Susan..⁵ Major died in 1888.^2,3 His body was interred at Guy Fm Plot, Smithville, Hacks Neck, Acc Co, VA. Mister, a 55 year old sailor..¹ She married Major Guy at Accomack Co, VA. They were shown only as Major Guy and Susan A. Mister, who were married on 22 Oct 1847. This is probably in error, since he was with his mother Betsy in 1850 and Susan was still with her parents in 1850..^3,4 Susan was listed with her husband in the census of in 1860 at Pungoteague PO, St.George Parish, Acc Co, VA.
