Charles was born circa 1805 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Ezekiel Killmon and Polly Parks. He married Rose Ann 'Rosy' Wingate on 7 January 1836 at Northampton Co, VA. James Wingate was the security on the M.L.B. of Charles Killman and Rosy Ann Wingate, daughter of James Wingate. He also said Charles was over age 21. They were married by P.      Rosy "Killman", age 38, was living in the 1850 St. George Parish HH#150 of Mary Savage, age 40. Also in this HH was Elizabeth Savage, age 15; Mary Killman, age 12; Thomas Lard, age 11; John Killman, age 10; and Susan Killman, age 8. Rosy Killman, age 44 and a seamstress, was living in the 1860 St. George Parish HH#701 with Joseph Waterfield, age 25 and a farmer. Her daughter Susan Killman, age 18 and sewing for wages, was living in the 1860 St. George Parish HH#695 of Thomas Chandler, age 27 and a tailor.
