Funeral services were conducted at the Pocomoke Methodist Church by Rev. Fulcher and Wilmer with burial in the Drummond Cemetery, Sanford (he was later moved to Downing's Cemetery). Survivors included his parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 2 grandmothers, all of who were named (E.S. News, 30 Aug 1935).¹ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²
