He was shown as Otho E. Mason, a 23 year old farmer, the son Thorogood & Elizabeth A. Mason and she was shown as Eulalia S. Parkes, age 21, the daughter of John & Mary Parkes. They were married by J.W. Carroll..¹ Otho died on 22 August 1891 at Metompkin District, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Otho E. Mason, who died of consumption at the age of 27 years. He was the son of Thorogood & Eliz. Mason, born in Metompkin District, and a farmer. A friend J.W. Bloxom gave the information..³ His body was interred at Mason Cem, Guilford, Acc Co, VA.²

     Eulalia was born in 1865 at Accomack Co, VA.⁴ She was the daughter of John (of B.) Parks and Nancy R. Middleton. Eulalia was listed with her parents in the census of in 1870 at Metompkin District, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Ulalia Parkes, age 5 in HH#MT390 headed by John Parkes, a 45 year old carpenter..¹ She married Otho E. Mason on 26 January 1887 at Guilford, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Otho E. Mason, a 23 year old farmer, the son Thorogood & Elizabeth A. Mason and she was shown as Eulalia S. Parkes, age 21, the daughter of John & Mary Parkes. They were married by J.W. Carroll..² She married Albert Lional Taylor on 9 February 1913 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Albert L. Taylor, a 44 year old post master, the son of James P.A. & Malinda Taylor and she was shown as Eulolia S. Mason, a 45 year old widow, the daughter of John & Nancy Parks..³ Eulalia died in 1956.⁴

With him were his wife, Kissiah, age 30, a daughter Mary, aged 2, and Lavinia Bradshaw, age 60, who may have been the mother of Kissiah..² John was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1860 at Smith Island, Som Co, MD. In 1860, at age 35 and a brickmason, he was the head of HH#1992 at Smith Island, Somerset Co, MD. His real estate was valued at $500 and his personal property was valued at $200. His place of birth was listed as D.C..⁴

     Kissiah may have been a Bradshaw as a Lavinia Bradshaw, age 60 years, was living with Kissiah and her husband, John Marshall, in 1850 in the Dames Quarter District of Somerset Co, MD. Kissiah was born circa 1820 at Maryland.¹ She married John Marshall circa 1845.^1,2 She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1850 at Somerset Co, MD.¹ She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Somerset Co, MD.³

     Edward was born circa 1858 at Somerset Co, MD.¹ He was the son of John Marshall and Kissiah 'Kya' Bradshaw(?). He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Somerset Co, MD.¹

     Duran was born on 7 September 1883.¹ He married Carrie R. Taylor on 3 September 1902.¹ Duran died on 4 February 1929 at age 45. Durant Jones, known as 'Tob' and about 40 year old, died on his farm near Greenback. He was in his barn, directing the movements of an auto truck which his son was backing up to the door. Without any warning, he fell to the floor, expiring immediately. Apoplexy is said to have been the cause. Listed survivors were Louise, Audrey, Isaac L., and Mrs. Lester Hall of Sign Post..¹ His body was interred at Goodwill M.E. Curch Cem, Goodwill, Worcester Co, MD.¹

     Carrie was born on 16 October 1881. She was the daughter of William Taylor and Sarah Stewart. She married Duran E. 'Tobe' Jones on 3 September 1902.¹ Carrie died on 19 July 1941 at age 59.¹ Her body was interred at Goodwill M.E. Curch Cem, Goodwill, Worcester Co, MD.¹

     Elton was born on 2 July 1906 at Stockton, Worcester Co, MD.² He was the son of Duran E. 'Tobe' Jones and Carrie R. Taylor. He married Montrue S. (-----) circa 1930.^3,4 His body was interred at Franklin Union Cem, Acc Co, VA.³ Elton died on 28 September 1964 at age 58.²

     Her body was interred at Franklin Union Cem, Acc Co, VA.¹ Montrue was born in 1908.¹ She married Elton Isaac 'Buddy' Jones circa 1930.^1,2

     Mrs. Mattie Kopplin Linton, wife of Henry Linton, died at home at Saxis on 9 Apr 1953, aged 54 years. She was the daughter of David L. Booth, born and raised on Chincoteague. Her husband and step children were listed as survivors (Pen. Ent., 16 Apr 1953). Mattie was born in 1899 at Chincoteague, Acc Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of David L. Booth and Clara A. (-----). She married (-----) Kopplin circa 1920.² Mattie was living in 1940 at Chincoteague, Acc Co, VA.³ She married William Henry Linton on 13 November 1940 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.³ Mattie died on 9 April 1953 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Leonard was a member of the armed forces serving at Army Air Force, World War II.² Leonard was born on 28 March 1911 at Mearsville, Acc Co, VA.³ He was the son of Leonard Franklin Byrd and Mattie Vernette Wessells. He married Virginia B. (-----) circa 1935.² Leonard was living in 1962.¹ Leonard died on 21 February 1966 at age 54.² His body was interred at Wessells Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.²

     Miss Annie C. Byrd was married to Mr. James T. Smith on 31 May 1882 at Conquest Church by Rev. M. Oldham (Pen. Ent., 8 Jun 1882). It is assumed that this is the same as Rhoda Ann Byrd who married James T. Smith, see Boston Family book. Rhoda was living at Muddy Creek, Acc Co, VA.¹ Rhoda was born on 8 February 1862 at Muddy Creek, Acc Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of Obed S. Byrd and Hetty C. 'Kitty' Mears. She married James T. 'Jim' Smith Jr. on 31 May 1882 at Conquest Chapel, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     Edward was born circa 1900. He married Luch Columbia Dudley circa 1920.^1,2 Edward was living in 1953 at Deltaville, VA.³

     Mrs. Thursie Mae Godwin, widow of Mr. Charles F. Godwin, died at her home at Belinda on 5 Sep 1953, aged 66 years. She was the daughter of John D. & Drucillia Marshall Bull. Survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 10 Sep 1953). Mary was born in 1887.¹ She was the daughter of John D. Bull and Drucilla Jane Marshall. Mary was living in 1906 at Belinda, Acc Co, VA.² She married Charles F. Godwin on 23 December 1906 at Worcester Co, MD.² Mary died on 5 September 1953 at Belinda, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Charles was born circa 1885. He married Mary S. 'Thursie Mae' Bull on 23 December 1906 at Worcester Co, MD.² Charles died before 1953.¹

     C.E. was born circa 1890. He married Rachel Gertrude Spence on 13 November 1953 at Baltimore, MD.¹

     E.S. was born circa 1900.

     Emily was born in 1884.¹ She married George Wesley McCready in 1929.² Emily died in 1969.¹ Her body was interred at Cape Charles Cem, N'hamp Co, VA.¹

     Samuel was born in 1884.² He married Cora Annie Taylor circa 1905.³ He married Lula P. (-----) after 1954.^2,3 Samuel died in 1963.² His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     Mrs. Cora Anne Marshall, wife of Samuel J. Marshall, died at her home at Hallwood on 12 Jan 1955, aged 72 years. Interment was in the Wessells Cemetery. Survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 13 Jan 1955). Cora was born in 1882.² She was the daughter of (-----) Taylor. She married Samuel J. Marshall circa 1905.³ Cora died in 1955.² Her body was interred at Wessells Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.²
