Which said will was proved 24 June, 1793; that immediately after the death of the said Charles Bagwell, the elder, his son Charles Bagwell entered upon and became possessed of the said tract of land and mills, and held possession thereof until his death, which happened on the ____ day of May, 1819; that at the time of the death of the said last mentioned Charles Bagwell he left six children viz: your orator & oratrixes Ann Kitson Clayton, wife of George Clayton, Laura Thornton, wife of James Thornton, Charles Bagwell and Sally Bagwell, and also Augustus Bagwell and Elvira Bagwell &c.

Young on 8 January 1873 at Guilford, Acc Co, VA.1 Oliver was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1920 at Guilford, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Oliver F. Wessells the head of HH#82, age 68. Listed with him was Mary Wessells, a 67(?) year old wife.. Oliver died on 5 April 1933 at age 82. Mr. Oliver F.      Mary Jane Young Wessells, aged 86 and widow of the late Oliver F. Wessells, died on 21 Nov 1939 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Riggs, at Gargatha. Services were at Johnson's Funeral Home, Parksley, on 22 Nov, conducted by Rev. Heath and Haddock, with interment in the Parksley Cemetery. Suviviors included 2 daughters and 5 sons, all of who were named, and 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who were not named (E.S. News, 24 Nov 1939). Mary was born on 3 March 1853 at Accomack Co, VA.2 She was the daughter of Samuel Young and Sally Wessells. She married Oliver F. Wessells on 8 January 1873 at Guilford, Acc Co, VA.1 Mary was listed with her husband in the census of in 1920 at Guilford, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Mary Wessells, age 67(?) in HH#82 headed by Oliver F. Wessells, age 68..
