     He may not have been a Wessells. His son Alfred Wessells listed his parents as Dan'l and Elizabeth Wessells on his marriage record, but no other record of any Daniel Wessells has been found in Accomack Co records. Daniel was born circa 1810. He married Elizabeth 'Betsy' Wessells circa 1830.¹

     Since Elizabeth Wessells (HH#979) was living next door to Walter Wessells (HH#978) in the 1850 census, they are assumed to have been siblings. Alfred F. Wessells listed his parents as Dan'l and Eliz'th Wessels on his 1855 marriage record, although he was not living with his mother Betsy in the 1850 Census, but with William Kelly. There was a Daniel Boston, unmarried and age 66 only 3 houses from her in the 1850 Census. Margaret Jane Wessells, who married John W. Linton in 1853 and Susan E. Wessells, who married Jesse T. Miles in 1868 both listed Betsy Wessells as their mother on their marriage records and a father was not listed. A Daniel Wessells of this period has not been found in Acc Co records. It is assumed that Alfred, Margaret, Susan and William (who was listed with his mother in the 1850 Census) were sibblings. Margaret Wessells is shown in the 1850 Census, age 14, living with Elijah Kelly. Margaret, age 22 (bc 1838), is shown as married to John Linton in the 1860 Census, but Susan could not be located in the 1860 Census. Susan is shown in the 1880 Census, age 32 (bc 1848), as the wife of Jesse Tho. Miles on Saxis. Elizabeth was born circa 1803 at Accomack Co, VA. The 1850 census puts her birth at 1814, the 1860 census puts it at 1803 and the 1870 census puts it at 1804..^1,2,3 She was the daughter of William Wessells Jr. and Leah Northam. She married Daniel Wessells circa 1830.⁴ Elizabeth was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Elizabeth Wessells, age 36 (born 1814) in HH#979 headed by Henny Bayly, age 46. Also in the household were Wm. Wessells, age 9 (born 1841); Susan Wessells, age 3 (born 1847); and Wm. Bayly, age 3 (born 1847). This household was listed between households headed by Walter Wesssells, age 48 and Solomon J. Small, age 48..¹ Elizabeth was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. Shown as Betsy Vessels, age 66 (born 1804) and keeping house, she was the head of HH#346 in Metompkin Township and was living alone. She was two doors from her son Alfred Vessels and his family..³

     Iva was born in 1898.¹ She married Lester Tillery Fisher on 28 June 1919 at Marion, Som Co, MD.² Iva was living in 1919 at Crisfield, Som Co, MD.² Iva died in 1974.¹ Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Lester was a member of the armed forces serving at US Coast Guard, World War II.² Lester was born on 28 February 1922 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Lester Tillery Fisher and Iva May Hickman. Lester was living in 1943 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.³ Lester died on 24 February 1980 at age 57.² His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²
