This Ephraim Wessells was called s/o Ephram on his 1837 Acc marriage license to Sarah Young. Although he was not mentioned in Ephraim Wessells Sr.'s will nor Shady's will, he could have been the oldest son and provided for earlier. He was deceased when Shady wrote her will. This is the most likely parents for him. Since his wife Sarah Wessels, thier children, and Sarah's likely mother, Sally Young, were listed in the 1850 Census without him, he evidently died before 1850. Ephraim was born circa 1805 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Ephraim Wessells Sr. and Shady Bell Taylor. He married Sarah 'Sally' Young on 1 March 1837 at Accomack Co, VA. Thomas Hinman was the security on the M.L.B. of Ephram Wessells of Ephram and Sarah Young of Wm. They were married on 4 Mar 1837..2,3 Ephraim died before 1850.

William was born circa 1776 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Maj. William Young (III) and Elizabeth 'Betty' Crippen. William was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1800 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. The 1800 Federal Census for Accomack County, Accomack Parish, lists him as William Young Jr., aged 16 to 26 years, with a wife of the same age. Apparently they had a son, for a male under ten years was in the household, as was another male aged 26 to 45 years.. William bought land in 1800 at Accomack Co, VA. While he heired no land, it has been shown that William Young IV bought 25 acres on Guilford Creek from his father in 1800, for which he gave a bond (Acc Co Deeds 1800 - 1804, p. 80). The deed stated this land joined the line of Richard Taylor, as far as Jeremiah Mason's land, and continued to "a Pine that stands by the Warehouse Road.. He married Sally Hinman circa 1800. There is no record of the marriage of William Young IV. It is obvious he had married by 1800 and, from census records and deeds, it is known his wife was named Sarah/Sally. It is likely she was a Hinman, for on 24 November 1834, it was recorded that Mary Mason and Sally Young were the only heirs of Bundick Hinman, a soldier in the Virginia Continental Line in the Revolutionary War (Acc Co Orders 1832 - 1836, p. 385)..2 William was named in his father's will on 26 February 1802 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as a son William Young in the will of William Young Sr..1 William bought land on 11 February 1809 at Accomack Co, VA. William Young bought 11 acres from his brother, Robert Young, on 11 February 1809 (Acc Co Deeds 1810 - 1812, p. 79) and 3 more acres from brother Isaac on 5 March 1810 (Acc Co Deeds 1810 - 1812, p. 152).. William was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1810 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. The 1810 census gives William Young's age as 26 to 45 years.. William bought land on 19 July 1817 at Accomack Co, VA. On 19 July 1817, William Young bought 50 acres from Richard Taylor and wife Peggy, for $250 (Acc Co Deeds 1817 - 1818, p. 179). Finally, on 2 September 1819, William Young bought 3 acres from Erastus Poulson for $55 (Acc Co Deeds 1818 - 1819, p. 401).. William was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1820 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. In 1820, he was still 26 to 45 and in 1830, his age was given as 50 to 60 years, when he would have been circa 54. William Young was not listed by the 1840 census, for he died in 1834.. He made a will on 27 February 1834 at Accomack Co, VA. Sell the southwest end of my land adjoining John Wessells Sr. so much as will pay all my debts. 10 yards square of land at my graveyard for my family burying ground. Balance, except my tools, to my wife Sally Young to raise my small children & for a home for my daughter until my son Isaac Young arrives to age 21. Then the balance & all my land, that is not sold to pay my debts, except my tools, to daughters Mary Young, Sally Young, Hannah Young, Ann Young & Elizabeth Young & my son Isaac Young. All my carpenters tools to my sons Richard Young & David Young. Thorowgood Taylor Extr. Witt: George Clayton Jr., Dennis Clayton & Erastus Poulson..3 William died in April 1834.3 William's will was probated on 28 April 1834 at Accomack Co, VA. On 29 Sep 1834 John Savage (of R.) & David C. Taylor became securities for Thorowgood Taylor..3

She was shown as a wie Sally Young in the will of William Young..3 Sally was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1840 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. William Young's widow, Sarah Young, aged 50 to 60, was the head of a household. There were no males in her household, but two daughters, aged 15 to 20 years.
