George H. Bundick, apparently named for his two grandfathers, was born in 1815 according to his age when he married the second time in 1888. The 1850 Federal Census for Acc Parish, Acc Co, shows George H. Bundick, aged 37, as head of HH#315. His wife, Ann Bundick, was also 37 and they had 6 children: Mary aged 12, Thomas aged 11, Elizabeth aged 9, George aged 6, Margaret aged 4, and William aged 1. In 1860, George H. Bundick was head of HH#166/180 in St. Geroge Parish, Acc Co, near the town of Accomac. His age was given as 44 years and his wife's as 46. They had the same children in their household, with the exception of their eldest daughter Mary. No record has been found of George H. Bundick buying or selling land. The census records all report he owned no real estate. Mr. George H. Bundick, aged 82 years, died on the last day of 1896 at his home at Pastoria (Pen. Ent., 16 Jan 1897). No tombstone has been found for him or either of his wives. He did not leave a will, nor has an administration of his estate been found. George was born in 1815 at Accomack Co, VA.2 He was the son of William Bundick and Polly Davis. He married Ann 'Annie' Wessells on 2 January 1837 at Worcester Co, MD.3 George was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as George H. Bundick head of HH#515, age 37 and a farmer, with a wife Ann, age 37 and children: Mary, age 12; Thomas, age 11; Elizabeth, age 9; George, age 6; Margaret, age 4; and William, age 1..4 George was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1860 at St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as the head of HH#166, age 44 and a farmer, with a wife Ann, age 46 and children: Thos., age 20 and a farm laborer; Margt., age 12; Wm., age 10; Elizt., age 18; and George, age 16 and a farm laborer.. He married Mary Dix on 12 September 1888 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as George H. Bundick, a 73 year old single farmer, the son of William & Polly Bundick and she was shown as Mary Dix, age 63 and single, the daughter of George & Sally Dix. They were married by J.S. Wharton..2 George died on 31 December 1896 at Pastoria, VA.5
