Bayly the plantation whereon he now lives, eastwardly of the Bayside County Road including the 100 acres I before conveyed to him by deed, which I now confirm, the said tract all together being called the Marino tract & also the woodlands westward of the County Road between my mills & the land of the heirs of William Turner dec'd with my grist mill & saw mill & the land appurtenant thereto which I bought of Robert Turnall & also my large timber wheels & my Negro slaves John, Akins, Levin & George & all claims I have against him. To son Richard D. Bayly all the land I have conveyed to him by deed & also slaves Levi, Major, Ned, James, Sarah & Elijah & ... all the interest in a bond from Thomas Wise dec'd for $1,500 which I am entitled to by virtue of Richard's covenant to me. To daughter Margaret Ker Robins my plantation & land I bought of Thomas Wise & John Cogwell & wife containing 182 acres which I call Woodlawn & also my land called Findly's Point which I bought of Major Rayfield Sr., Billy, Betty & Major Rayfield Jr., William Bull & wife, Levi Ames & wife & Sally Delastatius & all the land lying on the westward of the Bayside Road which I bought of William Raleigh the whole of which is to containe from 90 to 100 acres. Also to daughter Margaret my slaves Zadoc, Jack, Rachel, Peter, Agnes & her child Letty & the other ½ of my cattle & sheep. To wife Elizabeth Bayly the following slaves which I got by my marriage to her, wit: Thomas, Nehemiah, Milly, Sukey, Pleasant, Henry & Shepherd & ... & window curtians she bought in Philadelphia & ... & $100 & ... to be in lieu of dower. To granddaughter Ann Custis Bayly $1,200 to be paid by my four children Catharine, Thomas M., Richard D. & Margaret Ker equally when she arrives to age 21 or shall marry & until then they are to give her the interest each year & ... Negro woman Thamar Bayly, who I sometime ago manumitted, shall have a comfortable maintenance out of my estate if she is unable at any future time to maintain herself ... Also Patience Bayly, who I also sometime ago manumitted, but reserved a term of service, shall go free from the time of my death. Remainder to my 4 children Catherine Cropper, Thomas M. Thomas (145) Bayly in November 1762 at Accomack Co, VA.6,5 Ann died on 8 September 1801 at Accomack Co, VA, at age 58.2 Her body was interred at Hills Farm, Hunting Creek, Acc Co, VA. On her left lies her father, sister and 6 of her children. Her 2nd son was lost at sea. She left 3 sons and 2 daughters..2
