She was also given all my plates marked with the initials of the Horsey, Corbin & Ker families after the death of her mother..1 She married William Digby Seymour Sr. on 10 December 1821 at Worcester Co, MD. They were shown only as William D. Seymour and Elizabeth C. Kerr. No other information was given..2 Elizabeth died before October 1826. She evidently had died by this time as her husband William D. Seymour married Miss Anne U. Bayly in Oct 1826..

Bayly was the security on the M.L.B. of Samuel Downing and Elizabeth Bayly of Major..2 He made a will on 2 January 1819 at Accomack Co, VA. To Edward H. Ker & Elizabeth C. Ker articles of personal property in my possession which were formerly in their father's estate. To wife Elizabeth, until daughter Ann arrives to age 18, the mansion & lands whereon I now live, purchased of William S. White with the woodland attached & also the lands in Chincoteague purchased of Daniel J. Marshall, with a small adjoining piece of 16 acres purchased of Alexander & Kellam & the woodland attached to the first 12 acres & 15 acres of woodland of the north end of White Hall lands to furnish timber for the Chincoteague place ... to support of our child in maintenance & education.      During the Civil War Robert James Dryden went to Virginia and joined the Confederate Army of Northern VA under Robert E. Lee. He enlisted on 30 Oct 1862 as a private and was assigned to the First Battalion, Confederate Maryland Artillery. He fought through the war and was paroled at Appomattox Courthouse on 9 Apr 1865. After the war, Robert returned to Pocomoke City and resumed farming, his life-long occupation. He had no children (Dryden Family Book I, p. 215). Robert was born on 26 June 1839 at Somerset Co, MD.2 He was the son of Henry Dryden and Eleanor T. Corbin. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1850 at Dublin Dist, Somerset Co, MD.1 Robert was a member of the armed forces serving at Civil War.2 He married Mary E.L. Cannon on 17 November 1880 at Worcester Co, MD.3 Robert died on 24 November 1911 at age 72.2 His body was interred at St Marys PE Cem, Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.2

     As a young man, William Sydney Dryden left home and move to Baltimore. He worked his way up to a position as a cleak and salesman in one of the largest wholesale dry goods firms in Baltimore, William Devries and Co. He return to Pocomoke City in 1878 where he formed a partnership with Herbert H. King. In about 1887 he returned to Baltimore where he spent the rest of his working life as a salesman (Dryden Family Book I, p. 215). William was employed at as a Merchant. William was born on 19 June 1840 at Somerset Co, MD.2 He was the son of Henry Dryden and Eleanor T. Corbin. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1850 at Dublin Dist, Somerset Co, MD.1 He married Mary Ann Waters on 23 January 1867 at Worcester Co, MD. He was shown as William S. Dryden, age 24 and she was shown as Mary A. Walters, age 20. No other information was given..3 William died on 12 July 1903 at Baltimore, MD, at age 63.2 His body was interred at Pitts Ck Presb Ch Cem, Pocomoke City, Wor Co, MD.2

     Francis Henry Dryden was a merchant and business man in Pocomoke City, MD, and sold out in 1878. Soon after he engaged in the manufacture of fertilizer as a partner in the firm of Freeman, Lloyd, Mason and Dryden. At one time they had a factory near Norfolk. In 1884/5, he was the secretary of the Citizen's Power and Electric Co. In 1896 he entered the real estate business as senior partner of Dryden and Walton and continued in this business the rest of his life. On 11 Mar 1908 he attended a prohibition meeting at the Pocomoke City Opera House and gave a stirring ten minute speech in behalf of temperance. About three minutes after he concluded, he fell dead (Dryden Family Book I, p. 216). Francis was born on 13 May 1844 at Somerset Co, MD.2 He was the son of Henry Dryden and Eleanor T. Corbin. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1850 at Dublin Dist, Somerset Co, MD.1 He married Clementine Cecilia Mezick in February 1872.2 He married Cynthia B. Merrill on 14 February 1888 at Worcester Co, MD.3 Francis died on 11 March 1908 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD, at age 63.2 His body was interred at Presbyterian Ch Cem, Pocomoke, Wor Co, MD.2
