     Henry was born circa 1601 at England.¹ He married Elizabeth Berryman circa 1620.¹ Henry was living after 1633 at Accawmack Co, VA.¹ Henry died circa 1635 at Northampton Co, VA.² Henry's will was probated on 26 November 1635 at Northampton Co, VA.¹

     On 26 Nov 1635, Elizabeth "Caursley" of "Accawmack" and "executrix of my right deere and well beloved husbound Henry Caursley," made a deed of gift to her two daughters, Agnis and Frances, and named "my . . . father-in-law (step-father) Henry Wilson" overseer (N'hamp Co Orders, Wills, Deeds, etc., 1632-1640, f. 83). Elizabeth was born circa 1600. She was the daughter of (-----) Berryman and Alice (-----). She married Henry (1) Carsley circa 1620.¹ Elizabeth died in 1640.²

     In her will probated 7 Sep 1640, Alice Wilson named daughters Mary (executrix) and Jane (for as long as she remains a widow) the house and ground. She also named William Berryman (no relationship) as the maintenance of her grandchild Frances Caresley (until she comes to age). Witnesses were George Travellor, Thomas Ward, and William Berriman (N'hamp Co Orders, Deeds, Wills, etc., 1640-45, f. 11). Alice was born circa 1580.¹ She married (-----) Berryman circa 1600.^1,2 She married Henry Wilson circa 1610.^1,2 Alice died in 1640 at Northampton Co, VA.³ Alice's will was probated on 7 September 1640 at Northampton Co, VA.³

     Mary was born circa 1602. She was the daughter of (-----) Berryman and Alice (-----). Mary was living on 7 September 1640 at Northampton Co, VA.¹

     The inventory of Jane Lemman's estate on 30 Mar 1649 named her son and heir Jonas Jackson. Appraisers were Anthony Hoskins, Geroge Clarke, Jonathan Giles and George Smyth (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, etc, 1645-51, p. 141). An account of the cattle of Anne Kersey orphan in the hands of Mrs. Jane Lemon (Ibid, p. 47). Her last will and testament (not found) and her bequest to her son Jonas Jackson is referred to (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, etc, 1651-1654, p. 76). Jane was born circa 1604. She was the daughter of (-----) Berryman and Alice (-----). She married (-----) Bessins(Bessons) circa 1625.^2,3 She married Jonah Jackson (I) circa 1625.² Jane was living on 7 September 1640 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ She married Richard Lemon before 1645.³ Jane died in 1649 at Northampton Co, VA.⁴

     On 28 Jul 1645, William Berryman's estate was administered to Mr. Richard Lemmon and Mr. Thomas Johnson (N'hamp Orders, Deeds, Wills, etc., 1640-45, f. 234). Appraisers were John Stringer, Francis Pettett, William Munns and John Webster (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, etc, p. 3). For the account of his estate (Ibid, f. 145, p. 146). William was born circa 1606. He was the son of (-----) Berryman and Alice (-----). William died in 1645 at Northampton Co, VA.²

     (-----) was born circa 1600. He married Jane Berryman circa 1625.^1,2 (-----) died before 1640.

     Jonas Jackson was deceased by 28 Apr 1643 when Jame Jackson, widow, made a deed of gift to her son Jonas Jackson (N'hamp Co Orders, Deeds, Wills, etc, 1640-45, ff. 142, 198). A certificate for the transportation of ten persons was granted to William Berriman including Roberte Jackson, Jane Jackson and Jonas Jackson (Ibid, p. 126). Jonah was born circa 1600. He married Jane Berryman circa 1625.¹ Jonah died in 1643 at Northampton Co, VA.²

     Richard Lemon's estate was administered to his widow Jane Lemon (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, etc, 1645-51, pp. 6, 7). The court ordered that 200lbs of tobacco be set aside for Jonas Jackson son of the widow (Ibid, p. 12). Appraisers were William Munns, Mr. Stringer, John Webster and Francis Pettett (Ibid, p. 29). His inventory (Ibid, p.90). Richard was born circa 1600. He married Jane Berryman before 1645.¹ Richard died in 1645 at Northampton Co, VA.²

     Ann Carsley was deceased by 29 Jun 1646 when Francis Carsley, sister and executrix to the deceased, appoints her uncle Thomas Johnson to attend to the disposition of the estate (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, etc, 1645-51, ff. 102, 132, 177). On 27 Jan 1647/8 her sister Frances gave a power of attorney to "my uncle Thomas Johnson" to recover Ann's estate. Agnis was born circa 1622 at Virginia. She was the daughter of Henry (1) Carsley and Elizabeth Berryman. Agnis was living on 26 November 1645.¹ Agnis died on 27 January 1648.²

     Amos was born circa 1848 at Accomack Co, VA.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Taylor and Patsy Chesser. Amos was listed with his parents in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Amos Taylor, age 2 in HH# 236 headed by Thomas Taylor, a 24 year old farmer..¹ Amos was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Amos P. Taylor, age 13 in HH#278 headed by James Chesser, a 65 year old farmer. James was evidently his grandfather..³ Amos was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1870 at Atlantic Dist, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Amos Taylor, a 21 year old farm laborer in HH#AT18 headed by James Chesser, a 73 year old farmer, who was evidently his grandfather..⁴ He married Elizabeth Marshall on 12 February 1874 at Messongo, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Amos P. Taylor, a 26 year old oysterman, the son of Thomas & Patsy Taylor and she was shown as Elizabeth Marshall, age 26, the daughter of Henry Marshall. They were married by J.E. Bundick..⁵

     Winfred was born on 9 December 1895 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Robert Floyd Bull Sr. and Alice A. Wilkerson. He married Hattie Beatrice Marshall on 21 January 1917 at Brittingham Crn, Som Co, MD.³ Winfred was living in 1917 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.³ Winfred died on 24 June 1959 at age 63.² His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     (-----) was born circa 1900.

     Mary was born on 10 November 1867 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Alfred Taylor and Virginia Williams 'Jennie' Boggs. Mary was living in 1937 at Baltimore, MD.¹ Mary died on 3 February 1943 at Baltimore, MD, at age 75.²

     Henrietta was born on 25 May 1860 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Alfred Taylor and Virginia Williams 'Jennie' Boggs. She married George Dumler circa 1885.² She married Roland Hill circa 1925.² Henrietta was living in 1937 at Baltimore, MD.¹ Henrietta died on 16 February 1946 at Baltimore, MD, at age 85.² Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.³

     Mr. Cornelius C. Taylor of Jenkins Bridge, died on 15 Sep 1937 in John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD, aged 64 years. Services were at Downing's Cemetery on 18 Sep. Survivors included 3 daughters, 2 sons, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, all of who were listed (E.S. News, 17 Sep 1937). Clarence was born on 21 February 1873 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Alfred Taylor and Virginia Williams 'Jennie' Boggs. He married Rosa A. Shay on 28 December 1898 at Accomack Co, VA.³ He married Ella Smith on 12 April 1916 at Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.⁴ Clarence was living in 1928 at Baltimore, MD.¹ Clarence died on 15 September 1937 at Baltimore, MD, at age 64.⁵ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.⁶

     James was born on 4 August 1870 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Alfred Taylor and Virginia Williams 'Jennie' Boggs. He married Elizabeth 'Betsy' Mason on 27 September 1905 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.³ James was living in 1937 at Jenkins Bridge, Acc Co, VA.¹ James died on 21 July 1959 at age 88.¹

     Roland was born on 1 August 1860 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Roland died on 23 May 1923 at Baltimore, MD, at age 62.¹ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.² He married Henrietta 'Etta' Taylor circa 1925.¹

     Sallie was born on 11 February 1865.² She married John Carmine 'Jeff' Walker after 1913.^2,3 Sallie died on 5 May 1950 at age 85.² Her body was interred at Franktown Cem, N'hamp Co, VA.²

     In 1700 George Corbin (II), Chyrurgeon, of Northampton Co, VA, bought 150 acres of A157 (between Sanford and the Pocomoke River) from Richard Sterling, calling himself Carpenter, who had heired the land in 1698 from his father William Sterling (wife Elizabeth) of Northampton. In 1707 Richard and Martha Sterling sold George Corbin 10 acres more and another 140 acres two years later. The point near the western end of this part was called Pigg Point, which name is still in use, and this half became known as the Pigg Point Plantation. In 1713 Dr. Corbin (wife Susanna) left this land to his sons Robert and Ralph (see will below). Some years later, William Sterling, son of Richard, gave a release to Robert Corbin for any interest he might have had in the land as heir of his father (Whitelaw, p. 1278). For more on this tract of land see the record of George's son Robert (wife Ann), who died in 1743. George Corbin (II)'s will, written 25 Sep 1711, specified: I George "Corben" of Northampton Co, VA, "Chyrugeon" being at this time in a very weak .... ITEM - To my two sons Ralph and Robert "Corbeene" all my land in Acc Co lying upon the mouth of the Pocomoke River to be equally divided among them. Ralph was to enjoy his part only during his natural life and it was then to revert to the other son Robert. (This is consistent with Ralph's verbal will which left no land, only the contents of a closet where he kept his books and medicines.) "My loveing wife enjoying her due share of third of the same as the law in such cases provides and enjoyes." ITEM - To my son-in-law John Bloxome and Ann his wife four cows with all their future increase. (Note: At that time, son-in-law also meant step-son. It seems that if Ann had been his daughter he would have left her the cows. It is possible that John Bloxom was a son of Susanna's by a prior marriage.) ITEM - To grandson George Bloxome two cows with all their future increase. ITEM - To my loving wife "Sussanna Corbeene" and Ralph and Robert "Corbeene" my two sons all the rest of my whole estate both within "dores" and without be it of nature and quality or condition what serves to be equally divided among them excepting one Mallatto girl which I do wholly give to my loving wife named America Georg: to be wholly at her disposal for the time she hath to serve. ITEM - Son Robert to be executor. Wittnesses: Thomas Griffeth Johnson, Francis Griffeth (Tompson) Johnson, and Nathaniel Capell. Son Robert, the executor, presented the will to the court and the above wittnesses took oath. His common name was George. George was born circa 1655 at Northampton Co, VA.² He was the son of Dr. George Corbin (I). He married Susanna (-----) circa 1675 at Northampton Co, VA.^1,3 George was living at Savage Neck, N'hamp Co, VA. George's will was probated on 16 June 1713 at Northampton Co, VA.⁴ George died in 1713 at Northampton Co, VA.⁵

     Thomas was born on 24 May 1594 at England. He was the son of George Corbin and Mary Faunt. Thomas was living at Hall End, Co Warwick, England. He married Winifred Grosvenor in 1620 at England.¹ Thomas's will was probated on 1 June 1638 at Co of Warwick, England. His body was interred in 1638 at Hall End, Co Warwick, England.

     Winifred was born on 29 April 1605 at Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Gawin Grosvenor and Dorothy Pudsey. She married Thomas Corbin in 1620 at England.¹ Winifred died before 1688 at Virginia.²

     Ann was born circa 1620. She married Capt. John (2) Savage circa 1638.¹ Ann died before 1667.

     John was born circa 1640. He married Grace (4) Savage circa 1681.¹ John died on 19 February 1718 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that Thomas Savage Jr. was named to settle the estate of John Bloxom on behalf of the child of the deceased..²

     Savage was born circa 1682 at Northampton Co, VA. He was the son of John Bloxom and Grace (4) Savage. He married Mary (70) Stringer circa 1735.^2,3 He made a will on 24 February 1737 at Northampton Co, VA.⁴ Savage died in 1737 at Northampton Co, VA. He died without issue.. Savage's will was probated on 14 June 1737 at Northampton Co, VA.

     David Corbin's will, written 2 Mar 1744, specified: To brother Ralph Corbin planation on Messongo after the decease of my mother. To sisters Leah, Scarburgh, Wealthy, Susannah and Mary Ann. Witt: Henry Fletcher, Henry Hill, Elizabeth White. In order of probate: Ralph Corbin appointed guardian to Ralph Corbin, Jr., infant, to contest the said will, and having nothing to object the same is admitted to probate (Acc Wills &c. 1743-1749, p. 180). David was born circa 1715 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Robert Corbin and Anne (-----). David died on 25 May 1745.¹ David's will was probated on 28 May 1745 at Accomack Co, VA.²

     Leah was born circa 1717 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of Robert Corbin and Anne (-----). She married Henry Fisher circa 1740.¹ She married Henry Fletcher Sr. circa 1745.¹

     Scarburgh was born circa 1719 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of Robert Corbin and Anne (-----). She married Adam (228) Watts circa 1737.² She married William Whealton after 28 May 1751.² She married John Snead circa 1754.³
