     He was a railroad engineer. Ara was born on 8 April 1865 at Newark, Worcester Co, MD. His tombstone shows 1876.. He was the son of Parker D. Trader and Julia Anne Boston. He married Annie B. Williams circa 1895 at Parsonsburg, Wicomico Co, MD.^1,2 Ara died on 7 July 1937 at Cape Charles, N'hamp Co, VA, at age 72. His body was interred at Cape Charles Cem, N'hamp Co, VA.³

     Sarah was born circa 1857.¹ She married Charles W.S. Truitt on 18 December 1880 at Wicomico Co, MD.¹

     James was employed at as a State Highways. James was born on 5 November 1905 at Muddy Creek, Acc Co, VA.² He was the son of Orris Octavius Byrd and Sophia Susan White. James was living in 1924 at Mearsville, Acc Co, VA.³ He married Mae Alice Porter on 29 November 1924 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.⁴ James died on 14 July 1985 at Co Nursing Home, Gargatha, Acc Co, VA, at age 79.² His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     Mr. Leroy Madison Lewis, of Sykes, married Miss Maggie May French, youngest daughter of Capt. and Mrs. W.H. French, Thursday 15 Feb 1894 at the resident of the bride's parents on Pearl Street, Berkeley, VA, by Rev. M.W. Butler. They took the steamer to their future home in Sykes (Pen. Ent., 24 Feb 1894). Leroy Madison Lewis, aged 69, died at his residence in Chesapeake Beach on 28 Oct 1940. Services were at the Oliver Funeral Home, with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. He was the husband of Maggie French Lewis and the son of the late John T. and Sallie Spence Lewis, a native of Saxis. He was a retired dreding contractor and a residence of Chesapeake Beach for 16 years. Survivors included 1 son, 1 daughter, 2 grandchildren and 2 sisters, all of who were listed (E.S. News, 1 Nov 1940). Leroy was born in September 1872 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Leroy T. in the county birth records..² He was the son of John T. Lewis Sr. and Sarah E. 'Sally' Spence.      Miss Maggie May French, youngest daughter of Capt. and Mrs. W.H. Lewis, died at the home of her daughter at Parksley on 25 May 1957, aged 84 years. She was the daughter of William H. French and Mary Ann Sparrow French. She was survived by only one duaghter, Mrs. William W. Fisher (Pen. Ent., 30 May 1957). Maggie was born in 1873 at Norfolk, VA.² She was the daughter of William Henry French and Mary Ann Sparrow. She married Leroy Madison Lewis on 15 February 1894 at Berkeley, VA.¹ Maggie was living in 1904.³ Maggie died on 25 May 1957 at Parksley, Acc Co, VA.²

     Edward was born in September 1854 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA.² He was the son of John T. Lewis Sr. and Sarah E. 'Sally' Spence. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA.³ He married Augusta 'Gussie' Drummond on 25 September 1877 at Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA. They were married by Montcalm Oldham, a Methodist minister. Edward was a 24 year old oysterman and she was Augusta Nelson a 21 year old widow, daughter of Wm R. and Belinda Drummond..¹ Edward was on the in 1898 roll of the at Meth Ch, Saxis, Acc Co, VA.⁴ Edward was living in 1932 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA.⁵ Edward died on 11 June 1935 at Saxis, Acc Co, VA, at age 80. Mr. Edward F. Lewis died at Saxis at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sanky Marshall, on 11 Jun 1935, aged 84 years, survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 15 Jun 1935). Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Fulcher on 13 Jun at the Saxis Methodist Church with burial in the Drummond Cemetery, Sanford. Survivors included 2 daughters, 2 sons, 2 step-daughters, 3 sisters, and 1 brother, all of who were listed (E.S. News, 14 Jun 1935)..⁶ His body was interred at Drummond Cem, Flag Pond Rd, Sanford, Acc Co, VA.⁷
