He was shown as a son Joshua Trader, in the will of Henry Trader, and given one shilling sterling and no more of my estate (Som Wills 1788-1799, p. 188).. Joshua was named in his mother's will on 17 August 1796 at Worcester Co, MD. He was shown as a son Joshua Trader and given land in the will of Elizabeth Trader (Wor Wills 1790-1799, p. 378).. He married Elizabeth (-----) circa 1805.^1,2 Joshua died in 1841 at Maryland. In his will, Joshua Trader left his son John Asbury Eikel Trader the balance of his estate with instructions that he must maintain his mother. He left 25 cents each to Joshua Henry Smith Trader, William Byrd Trader and Eliza Dennis. He left $300 each to Charlotte Winder Parker and Sarah Jane Trader and two slaves each to Rufus King Trader, Levin White Trader and Thomas Bailey Trader..

     Rufus was born circa 1817 at Worcester Co, MD.² He was the son of Joshua Trader and Elizabeth (-----). He married Nancy F. Dennis on 29 January 1845 at Worcester Co, MD.³ He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1850 at Worcester Co, MD.² Rufus died in 1884.

     His common name was Jules. Jules was born circa 1852 at Somerset Co, MD. He was the son of Levin White Trader and Matilda E.J. Horsey. He married Jeannette Gillett on 1 November 1881.² Jules died in 1903 at Texas.²

     Maria was born on 12 October 1854 at Somerset Co, MD. She was the daughter of Levin White Trader and Matilda E.J. Horsey. Maria died on 24 August 1954 at Richmond, VA, at age 99. Miss Louise died at the Episcopal Home in Richmond, VA and was buried in Parsons Cemetery, Salisbury, MD (obituary in Pen. Enterprise)..
