He was shown in the records as Henry Armitrader, Junr. In 1735 he inherited land his father had bought from Robert Taylor, 60 acres between Jonathan Garrison and Edward Kellam, and his father's right to a mill dam. This land was located in Accomack Co, VA, between the present-day Onley and Melfa, off the highway toward Locustville. Accomack County records do not show Henry Armitrader, Junr. selling his land. The next owner of record was a Littleton Armitrader, presumably Henry's eldest son (Whitelaw, p. 850). With the exception of Littleton, nothing more has been found in Accomack County records of the children of Henry Armitrader, Junr and his wife Abigail (Bradford) after 1752. Son Henry evidently moved to Somerset Co, MD. Henry was born circa 1708 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Henry (33) Armitrader and (-----) Hitchens. He married Abigail (23) Bradford before 1728. In 1728, William Bradford had given 200 acres in the Wachapreague area to his son John. The deed states that if son John should die without heirs, the land would go to his sister Ann Bradford and then to another sister, Abigail Armitrader (Whitelaw, p. 779). William Bradford wrote his will on 4 July 1735 and it was probated on 1 June 1736 (Acc Deeds & Wills, 1729-1737, part 1, p. 494). Among his bequeaths was a slave named Appy or 10 pounds "to the daughter of Henry Armitrader called Comfort Armitrader at the time of her arriving to the age of 16 years." These two records show that Henry Armitrader had married Abigail Bradford before 1728..3 Henry was named in his father's will on 13 January 1735 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as a son Henry Armitrader in the will of Henry Armitrader..4 Henry died in January 1749.5 Henry's estate was administered on 30 January 1749 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Abigail Armitrader was named to settle the estate of Henry Armitrader. John Bradford & Samuel Beech were the securities. On 27 Nov 1750, Abigail Armitrader returned to the court her husband's inventory (Acc Wills, 1749-1752, p. 125). The inventory consisted of 40 pounds 8 shillilngs 1 pence in cash, household furniture, cooking and eating utensils, livestock, farm tools and crops, "a Parcel of Leather, a Parcel of Shoe Maker's Tools, one Deerskin, one Parcel of Carpenter's Tools, and one old Testment and Printer.".5

Abigail was born circa 1710 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of William (5) Bradford and Bridget (10) Fisher. She married Henry (62) Armey Trader before 1728. 494). Among his bequeaths was a slave named Appy or 10 pounds "to the daughter of Henry Armitrader called Comfort Armitrader at the time of her arriving to the age of 16 years." These two records show that Henry Armitrader had married Abigail Bradford before 1728..2 Abigail was named in her father's will on 4 July 1735 at Accomack Co, VA.3 Abigail was named as administrator of an estate on 30 January 1749 at Accomack Co, VA. Joshua Burton and Bartho Taylor were his securities. Her inventory was returned on 31 Jan 1752 (Acc Wills & c., 1752-1757, p. 156). It consisted of approximately the same items as that of her husband. She had 28 pounds 1 shilling in cash. She also had 208 pounds bacon, 16 pounds tallow and 25 pounds "Hogg fatt." All the items were divided by Littleton Armitrader between his brothers and sisters as their part of their father's estate. Henry was born on 1 January 1741 at Accomack Co, VA.2 He was the son of Henry (62) Armey Trader and Abigail (23) Bradford. Henry was named as an heir in 1752 at Accomack Co, VA. When his mother's estate was settled in 1752, Henry Armitrader heired personal property as his share of his father's estate. The entire list consisted of : 1 horse, 1 sheep, 1 hogg, 2 geese, 3 old plates and a parcel of old books, 1 hackle and 1 small trunk, 1 pair shears, fire tons and ____ forks, 2 iron wedges and 1 looking glass, 1 kettle, 5 tubs, 7 wooden trenchers, 1 1/2 bucket of salt, 1 barrel of corn, 1 bed, 1 bed sted matt and cord, 1 pair cotton blankets, 2 pair of spectakles, and 5 pounds 3 shillings 8 pence in cash (Acc Wills & c., 1752-1757, p. 158). After this he disappeared from Accomack County records.. Henry bought land on 17 November 1767 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that it was apparently he, as Henry Trader "also called Henry Armey Trader," who bought 34 acres of land called Lond from David Wilson. The deed states that both the buyer and seller were of Somerset County, MD (Som Deeds D, p. 440). The land was located in upper Somerset County, in the portion that became Wicomico County in 1865.. Henry sold land on 19 May 1769 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that Henry Armatrader and wife Agnes sold 35 acres called London to Geroge Smith for 500 pounds (Som Deeds E., p. 23).. Henry bought land on 17 December 1769 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that Henry Trader bought parts of three tracts from William Stephens, 27 1/2 acres called Confusion, 22 1/2 acres called Last Discovery, and 54 acres called Maddux Fancy (Som Deeds E., p. 73). On 5 Apr 1771 Henry Army Trader and wife Agnes sold this puchase to William McClemmy for 65 pounds (Som Deeds E., p. 142). This deed explains that Henry Armatrader was moving.. He married Agnes (-----) before 5 April 1771. It was on this date that Henry Trader and wife Agnes sold land to William McClemmy (Som Deeds E., p. 142).. Henry bought land on 19 November 1771 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that Henry Trader bought 1/4 acre of Pemberton's Goodwill in Salisbury Town from William Winder for £10 (Som Deeds E., p. 148). He, of Worcester County, sold this to John Nelms on 12 Dec 1772 for £65 (Som Deeds E., p. 219). Since a wife did not cosign this deed, it is apparent that Henry Trader had lost his first wife Agness, whose maiden name in unknown, between the spring of 1771 and the end of 1772.. He married Elizabeth Smith in 1773. On 8 Nov 1769, Isaiah Smith had sold to Elizabeth Smith 50 acres called Pea Patch in Wicomico Forrest, Worcester Co, MD. On 5 May 1773, Henry Trader, of Worcester Co, and wife Elizabeth Trader sold the same land to Peter Gordy (Wor Deeds I, p. 255). These deeds show that Henry Trader had married (2) Elizabeth Smith by the spring of 1773.. Henry bought land on 28 February 1774 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that Henry Trader bought 147 acres called Maddux Luck from Jonathan Shockley for £160 (Som Deeds F., p. 129). The deed places this land "on road from Salisbury Town to Springhill Chappel." Henry Trader, of Somerset County, and wife Elizabeth sold this to Benjamin Nutter on 2 Jan 1786 for £220 (Som Deeds H., p. 134).. Henry bought land on 25 October 1776 at Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Henry Trader of Somerset County bought 149 acres of Hypocrites Deceived in Worcester County from John Gordy (Wor Deeds K., p. 25).. Henry appears on the list of tithables at Somerset Co, MD, for in 1783. The 1783 tax list for Rewastico District, Somerset County, shows Henry Trayder owning 147 acres of Maddux Luck. His household consisted of 4 males and 6 females. Apparently after he and his second wife separated in 1784 (no record has been found of this in either Princess Ann or Snow Hill) Elizabeth (Smith) Trader and her children moved back to Worcester County, where she bought land after her husband's death.. He made a will on 7 July 1784 at Somerset Co, MD. He left to his 3 eldest daughters Ann Trader, Mary Trader and Elizabeth Trader all his personal estate and made them joint executrices of his will. He left son Henry all my wareing cloths. He left 1 shilling sterling and my will is that he/she have no more of my Estate to son Joshua Trader and Purnell Trader and daughters Milley Trader and Sarah Trader. He did not name his wife at all or make mention of land. Witnessess were Benjamin Hearn, Hezekiah Maddux and Samuel Hearn. Ann Trader and Mary Trader quaified as executrices.. Henry died circa 1791. Henry's will was probated on 29 December 1791 at Somerset Co, MD. It was on this date that his will was recorded. On 14 Mar 1796, George Collins and Ann his wife and Mary Reynold (formerly Trader) Executors of Henry Trader deceased made a final accounting of the estate (Som Adm. of Accounts, 1778-1796, pp. 723 & 724). Among the debits to the estate, James Charles had been paid £1.10.06 for making the coffin. Son Henry Trader received his father's clothes, valued at £10. Joshua Trader, Purnell Trader, Milly Trader and Sarah Trader each were paid 1 shilling & 8 pence and the balance of £116.07.05 1/2 was divided between the 3 eldest daughters, who were children of Henry Trader's first marriage..
