She married Luzernia 'Renzy' Chesser circa 1910.² She married John W. Knight on 30 November 1935 at Bloxom, Acc Co, VA.³ Josephine died on 23 July 1942 at Messongo, Acc Co, VA, at age 52. Josie M. Bailey, wife of John W. Knight of Messongo, died at home on 23 Jul 1942. Services were conducted on 25 Jul 1942 at Bloxom Holiness Tabernacale by Rev. Bean and Clark, with interment in Groton's Cemetery, Hallwood, VA. She was survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters, all of who were listed (E.S.
