     Amos Patterson Trader's birth, according to the 1870 census, was circa 1866. According to the 1880 census it was circa 1867 and according to his 1891 Worcester Co marraige record was 1868. However, his tombstone shows 25 Jul 1860. Evidently the tombstone is in error. Conflicting evidence states that Amos was born on 25 July 1860 at Accomack Co, VA.² Amos was born circa 1866 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of John S.A. Trader and Elizabeth J. Woods.      Marion Jasper Poulson bought two adjacent tracts of land from Henry Davis and wife Hetty on 7 Oct 1874, for $973 (Acc Deeds 1874-76, p. 39). 28 acres was the Johnson land adjoining George P. Bird's heirs and Samuel Lucas heirs. 92 acres, called the Dickerson land, joined Samuel Taylor, Alsanada Chase and Capt. William Lewis. On 27 Sep 1881, Marion J. Poulson bought 91 acres near Muddy Creek from William R. Lewis and wife for $800 (Acc Deed Bk 54, p. 456). This was bound on the northwest by his first purchase, northeast by Elizabeth Justis, southeast by William Northam, and southwest by Thomas Trader, a brother to Marion's wife Sarah. While Marion was listed as a farmer by census records, in 1884 he had a school house (Pen. Ent., Muddy Ck News, 26 Jan 1884). This article tells of a movement to open a road from A.F. Mears' store at Mearsville, northwest to M.J. Poulson's school house in Cattail Neck, a distance of one mile. An article in a county newspaper shows a picture of Rev. Edward T. Poulson, D.D., and states he was to conduct a revival at Modest Town Baptist Church in 1936 (Pen. Ent., 22 Aug 1936). Edward was born circa 1872 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Marion Jasper Poulson and Sarah Trader.
