The proof that Margaret A. Knight was the daughter of Dunreath M. Knight and Elizabeth Marshall is based the following: 1) Dunreath' wife Elizabeth is the only Elizabeth Knight known to be in Acc Co during this period, 2) Elizabeth Knight was listed as Margaret's mother on her marriage license bond of 1848, and 3) Elizabeth Knight, age 41, was in the 1850 household of her sister Rosey's husband Edward Trader along with her younger children Henry, age 16, and Nathalie, age 5. Margaret was born circa 1827 at Accomack Co, VA.2 She was the daughter of Dunreath M. Knight and Elizabeth Marshall. She married William Henry Parker Trader on 25 January 1848 at Accomack Co, VA.1 Margaret was listed with her husband in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Margaret Trader, age 23 in HH#1029 headed by Nancy Trader, age 40. Also listed was Wm. P. Trader, a 25 year old farmer, who was evidently her husband..2
