     The 10 month old infant of Mr. Lee Marshall, who resides near Messongo Wharf, was burned to death on Saturday last. The article explains how the house caught fire and was destroyed and how the child perished in the flames (Pen. Ent., 15 Jul 1893). Evidently this was Willie, who was actually 5 months old at the time, based on his Acc birth record. Willie was born in February 1893 at Accomack Co, VA.1 He was the son of Leander A. 'Lee' Marshall and Martha A. 'Marthy' Lewis. Willie died on 8 July 1893 at Messongo, Acc Co, VA, at age 0.2
