     Vercie was born circa 1905 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of Robert R. Taylor and Laura Taylor. She married Lester James Gladding on 6 June 1925 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.^1,2 Vercie died on 10 July 1958 at NAM Hospital, Nassawadox, N'hamp Co, VA.¹

     Mr. George C. Bloxom was killed in his auto when it was struck by a south bound express train at Greenbrush on 27 Mar 1915, aged 31 years. Rev. R.S. Monds conducted the service and interment was in Bloxom Cemetery. He was survived by a wife and 3 small children (Acc News, 3 Apr 1915). He and his wife are both now burried at Parksley Cemetery. Hospital, Salisbury, Wic Co, MD.¹ William was born on 16 January 1907 at Perrihauken, Somerset Co, MD.¹ He was the son of Zadok Ross and Lena Parsons. He married Lyda Jane Taylor on 24 December 1928 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.^1,2

     Patricia Jane Ross died in an auto accident on Rt. 13 in Somerset Co, MD, just north of Pocomoke City. Patricia was born on 16 March 1936 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.¹ She was the daughter of William Edward Ross and Lyda Jane Taylor. Patricia died on 28 February 1971 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD, at age 34.¹

     Geraldine was born on 11 November 1928 at Chester, PA.² She was the daughter of Earl Preston Mears and Estella Read. Geraldine died on 11 January 2006 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, N'hamp Co, VA, at age 77. Mrs. Geraldine Louise Mears Young, age 77, of Mears died Wednesday, 11 Jan 2006, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. Born in Chester, PA, on 11 Nov 1928, she was the daughter of Earl Preston Mears and Estelle Reid. Mrs. Young was an antique dealer and a Baptist. Mrs. Young is survived by her husband of 60 years, Russell Young; sons, Robert Young (and wife, Bonnie) and Steve Young (and wife, Margaret), all of Mears; sister, Peggy Hanson of Edystone, PA; grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis, Talley Young, Stevie Young, Jo Merritt and Joi Lynn Taylor; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Reber; and grandson, Doug Taylor. Graveside services were conducted Saturday, 14 Jan, at Wessell's Cemetery in Mears..² Her body was interred at Wessells Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.²
